Quoted from MrMikeman:

The number of LE kits is 227.
The breakout board I spoke of is that upgrade “kit”. I believe it’s out now as I’ve heard a few guys got them.
My comment was more about the fact that there just aren’t that many P3’s and/or Weird Al’s out there. Your possible customer base is limited when compared to something like Star Wars toppers.
You certainly can ask any amount you want just as folks can offer anything they want. At some point I wish you to find some willing to pay what you are willing to sell for!
All good!

Yes, I agree. All good here also and I appreciate your feedback.

I think a price reduction is in order and I'm going to give it some thought on how much and when. And if it doesn't sell on its own, eventually I will be moving on from Al and I can sell it all as a complete LE package then.

In the meantime, if anyone is interested shoot me a PM and we can talk. The Weird Al topper is one of the better ones I've seen and mine has never been used.

For that price, I would just go buy drained and have something that provides more enjoyment.

Yep, speaking of that. Is anyone selling any used modules?

I’d be in for a drained, lexy or CCr

They rarely come up for sale. I’d order a Drained straight from Nick.

I think this may change by next year when there will be plenty of modules to choose from.

I predict; nope.
It hasn't happened yet... even with Pin2k... how often did you get a RFM or SW kit come up for sale?
I have some modules I never really play; that doesn't mean I'm tempted to sell.
Maybe one day in the distant future; you'll be able to buy modules second hand ... but I don't think we are anywhere near that.

#2207 1 year ago

They will probably come up for sale when someone sells their p3 with only one module. Then they have to sell the rest of the modules individually.

I have had a couple of folks message me on selling. Trying to line up the one to get. I bet you there are way more modules sold by P3 than pin 2000 kits. 2 games released this year from them and they can’t keep up with demand.

If there is a module we don’t like why wouldn’t I sell it? You’re buying them with out playing them. If I could get my money back on some of the apps I bought I would too. I don’t play a couple of them at all

The issue with the older modules is that someone may make a game for them that is better than the original. Then you’d regret having sold it.

Maybe, I haven’t found an app I care about yet that would make me keep a module I didn’t play but I only have Heist with two modules coming this month. Also, modules were much cheaper. Now they are mid $3s which is half the price of a nib pro. probably going to be pushing 4k soon. How much higher will they go? If they release 2 a year going forward it really starts adding up.

#2211 1 year ago
Quoted from vikeking27:

I'm thinking I'm going to be on-deck for my unit pretty soon - ordered immediately on day 1 of the Weird Al ordering window opening - what's everyone's thoughts on Weird Al so far? Is it hard/easy/intermediate? Has the code been updated a couple times? Anyone who's had it for a while still loving it? I'm excited to get the P3 since I'll soon be in a temporary situation where I'll likely only be able to have one game out and the rest in storage - I have a feeling this one will be the one (considering I'll be able to switch modules periodically).

Honestly, it plays more like a classic Bally Williams than any other pin in the past 20 years excepting CGC. Rules wise and feel wise.

I personally only have my Weird Al, and am waiting on CCR and Heist. I may get Danesi's module depending on how it looks. I only have room, time, and budget for so many games and can't imagine having more than 3 or 4 modules. These should be easier to do trades/temporary trades on since you can literally mail them. Eventually supply should catch up with demand.

New game kit announced, Final Resistance! My god I need a 2nd job to afford all these new pinballs.

#2213 1 year ago

I sold my Lexi but I only miss the sub game, Secret Agent.
Lexy is a good game but I had it since the beginning as an early adopter.

Welcome to the P-3 experience. All aspects of it are unique and I'm glad to be a part of it. Really glad.

in for a drained

Thanks all! (More subtle suggestions above)

Looking forward to the 9th and Final Resistance!

Details on the new module!!

#2216 1 year ago
Quoted from paulbaptiste:

Details on the new module!!

Looks pretty cool, but the price seems high for what I see on the playfield, when compared to Heist or Al - guess I'd have to know more about the specifics of what's there to justify it.

#2217 1 year ago

Looks like Multimorphic is 50% of the way to their goal of releasing two modules this year! Congrats!

#2218 1 year ago

Throwing my hat into the ring as someone interested in used P3 modules! I don't see these come up often, and would love to buy some.

#2219 1 year ago

Looks great to me. The ship shooting out balls above the wall. The right orbit being a kickback like War Machine or Rocket. Hell, even the juicy spinner makes me excited! I'm missing that on Weird AL. With Scott's design and music. Bowen will make the code fun. The art and graphics team seem to be the same as TNA, which I love. This looks to be a TNA 3.0 mixed with Rick and Morty code and the P3 allows for the creativity of this team to shine.

#2220 1 year ago

I think we will start to see more of a secondary market for P3 modules as more new ones are released. Some owners will have a limit on how many modules they want at one time and others will want to sell/trade an older module to fund a new one. Seeing more of a secondary market for modules will be another great thing about having a P3.

Having issues with wall and scoop 5. It's sticking up too high and not operating correctly in ROCS (wall won't go down). Scoop is also sticking up further than the others when up.

When walking by the game today I could hear something turning off and on, like a servo motor and video'd the below. Anyone have insight on these issues and if there are connected? I send an email to multimorphic last Friday and today but haven't heard back yet. Figure maybe someone has been through this before while I wait.

The ball tube may have slipped down? Make sure it is all the way against the stop under the apron. It's one of the things you have to check when you unpack the game (instruction taped on the glass).

I checked that when I first got my game. Tube is fine. Something is rising up and down constantly in the video. I turned the game off until I can figure out whats' going on.

I know you just got your machine and is most likely on the latest code for everything, but check that and update if not.

Your scoop/wall is rubbing on the tube. Check positioning again.

Everything is updated.

I see it rubbing the tube as well, but the tube is fixed, it's in a bracket bolted down. The tube isn't moving, unless I'm missing something.

I saw the exchange you had with support today. Sounds like the height adjustment helped one symptom. We'll get to the bottom of the double-drive. That's a new one.

I read that as, 'you priced Heist and Weird Al too low.' Seeing the prices of new games from everybody else, most of whom deliver games with fewer features than Heist and WAMONH, I feel pretty good about the value per P3 game.

Fair! I'm sure after seeing more details on the game I'll have my order in (don’t put me at the back of the line for my comment) =)

Thanks Gerry. The unintended bonus of all this is I have learned much more about the P3 than I expected. I’ll be looking for the response from your team.

They are bad asses. I am continually blown away by the passion this team has. Gerry has limitless optimism, and I think the proof is in the pudding, but it’s impressive how this has rubbed off on everyone else. Obviously Scott and Bowen have some serious game, but TJ, Mike, the back line guys all have their shit seriously in check. Just on.top.of.it.

I'll add another compliment to Multimorphic that seems to get overlooked and never mentioned.

They have the best mechanical engineers in all of pinball. Nobody even close.

Can someone take a picture of the Heist module installed with zoom in on the side latches? Where does the module metal ball guide go- behind the existing metal ball guide or in front?

Never mind I see it now. Should be flush.

Anyway vuks not working so can’t launch ball. Must be misaligned. I remember seeing some sort of adjustment post for the vuks. I’ll look for that

Do you hear the vuk fire? Also go into test and you can see balls and coils in coil test

Thanks. Yes, they are definitely firing. And then the diagnostics I can fire them and I can see the balls virtually represented on top of the different vuks. I don’t think they are centered correctly or something because it’s hitting the edge or the wall on the way up.

Alignment is different than power settings. The launch tubes can be adjusted fore-aft on the module. Had to do it on WAMONH.

#2242 1 year ago

It's also worth noting that while there is a tube for VUK2, it does not directly launch a ball onto the playfield, but in fact loads a staging coil under the casino building in the back left corner.

Any one looking to sell a Lexy light year module? It’s now the last one I need

Could also potentially trade a nice whirlwind for it with some cash my way. Let me know. Happy to buy outright
