The cadence of these updates has been really incredible to witness. The new version of the P3 SDK has been very helpful to developers as well!

Hardest thing to figure out for my family is which of the great games we want to play.

Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for all YOU do and for enjoying the machine so much.

Everybody: If you're on facebook, there's a post on the Multimorphic facebook page with the video. Please share it so we can get people outside of the pinball community to view it. I believe this is the one machine that can turn non-pinhead families into pinball fanatics.

nice work, if importing was not a issue I would be in on this

What's the issue with importing? (genuine question). Do you just mean the cost of shipping and tax?

yep, did it once years ago with a 2nd hand game and was stung on a heap of hidden / unknown costs, would definitely consider if the costs were known prior or if someone brought in a few games like what Dave Peck does for spooky games in NZ

Any idea when Heads Up will be released?

It's available now to anybody with multiple P3s set up in a LAN configuration. We hope to have the WAN logic integrated in the next couple of months, at which point we'll make it available to everybody.

Here's a short overview of our playfield LCD. We use it in a number of ways to enhance the physical pinball experience.

Software Updates!!!

We just released a bunch of software updates... 6 games, 3 module drivers, and 2 system apps. Among many other changes, like a score rebalancing in Heist, you can now play mini-games like ROCs and Barnyard on all 4 playfields, more games have Twitch-Connect and the P3 feature menu with bluetooth headphone support, and all playfield modules can now be fully tested with the latest version of Diagnostics (instead of having to load different versions of Diags for different playfield modules). See the release notes for each update for more details. They're available for download now in your account page on the multimorphic site: https://www.multimorphic.com.

This is great - I've just been playing Rocs with the 3rd Flipper enabled

Any issue with serving balls in ROCs? I can’t get through more than 5 waves most games. Mentioned it to Gerry, and I think I may have installed something incorrectly. Heist works fine, balls come up immediately every time. But ROCs tries 2 or 3 times to kick a ball out, then gives up. wondering if it’s just me ?

I talked to the Heist team yesterday about this. It's very unlikely you've installed something incorrectly. It sounds like the Heist game app deals with failed launches and retries itself, rather than having the error detection and retry logic in the Heist module driver. So that would explain why Heist would work reliably and ROCs would give up. So... 2 issues:

1) Why do you occasionally get a failed launch? There are a couple of settings, like coil strength, that can be tweaked to either reduce bounce-backs or overcome weak launches, depending on your situation.

2) We'll need to move the failure detection and retry logic into the module driver.

I do suspect the ROCs settings may be over-powering the VUK coils. I checked settings there, and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary but I will confirm.

The one I'm thinking about is the VUK strength for the staged coil that kicks the ball onto the wireform. If it's too strong, the ball will bounce back up and around and fall back down the tube. I'm not in front of a machine right now; let me know if you need me to dig up the setting name.

Left VUK Coil Pulse time is what I was adjusting. I’ll try to make some more time today to mess with it, haven’t really made a serious troubleshooting attempt yet.

New slingshot and side target artwork!

These easily swappable pieces brighten up the lower portions of the playfield and deliver a more immersive look for Heist, Cosmic Cart Racing, and Lexy Lightspeed - Escape From Earth.

They're available in the Multimorphic store at https://www.multimorphic.com/category/artwork/

I love that it’s magnetic on the cab. They even give artwork specs so you could make your own too.

Yes I’ve seen that! It’s really cool that it’s open source with nothing to hide. Love to see more people getting to see the P3. Hope that more locations will get heist or any of the other games . Time To expend the P3 FAM So I can have my ass beaten @ CCR online

I didn’t get it until I played, and I love seeing lots of new posts recently about wanting to find one to play. I hope more people get them on route or have get together a when safe to do so to help get people playing these!
