Pretty sure everyone here has at least 1 or 2 multicades. I have one with a horizontal monitor and one with a vertical monitor. Used to collect dedicated games but needed more room for pins so out they went.

Quoted from cliff_clavin:

Here’s the bad news. The robotron emulation on the multigames is off. It’s way too hard. On a real machine, it’s much easier....
Here’s the good news....there is a replacement jamma board that plays Robotron and all Williams arcade games perfectly. It’s made by JROK. Many people are swapping these boards into original cabinets. If you really enjoy Robotron, pick up one of these pcbs and you will love playing the game as it should be played.
Cheers

Do you know if it's the same way with Defender? I have it on my 19 in 1 I-cade board and it's way harder then what I remember. But could just be me getting old and rusty. Was thinking of getting the JROK board but if it plays the same as the multicade one then no point in getting it.

I’ve repaired and re capped dozens of crt monitors in my life. Still have one in my Ms Pac that is converted to a 60 in 1 game. But to be honest. After building over a hundred multigames with LCD monitors. I too am now adjusted to accepting them as the monitor of choice. Sure CRT monitors do look a little better but use a ton of electricity and weigh as much. As far as I’m concerned I’m not going back to them.
