I have not played MSF to my memory or maybe since I was 18. I hear BSD is a great game which I have not played since then as well. DM I played more recently and it is a fun pin for a wide body. You can also get a different alternate back glass for the game. I think if you don’t have a wide body pin in your collection it would be nice to have one for the lower price on DM compared to the other higher priced wide body games.
demo man would be my choice. i could have got one from a friend a few years back for pretty cheap, should have snagged it, would have looked nice beside my t2. the audio on frankenstein is awful, its ok though.
I own MSF and owned a DM. Probably making a trade for DM. Here are my pros and cons for both
MSF:
Pros: Huge dmd
6 ball multi-ball
Toy that throws balls at you
Lots of modes, HARD game to beat fully
Nice artwork, nice translight art.
Cons: Weak flippers without an upgrade
Huge expensive dmd
weird playfield...standup targets galore.
Demolition Man:
Pros: Widebody and it's Williams built.
Fast and fluid gameplay (it's got combos...and no, not the snack food kind
The Jackpots are cool, modes are fun
Great music (especially the finale)
Cons: Translight is...really bad.
Playfield artwork is Yawn'able
The cryo claw can be a PITA and shopping this pin is a picnic not even the ants will attend.
My choice...DM. It's just a better playing pin.
