I have a recently acquired MSF. With the usual servo / servo board issues. On the servo board, the LED light is not doing the desired behavior of blinking upon machine power up. I've checked traces on the board and they all test good. I've checked resistors on the board, and they all test good. I haven't pulled any capacitors or the LED itself off to check yet. On the servo out 3 pins, I do get a good 5v, and negative ground. The control wire itself is tricky, so I'm not sure how to interpret my DMM on its readings.....
I'm wondering if I can substitute the 'little monster' board:

in place of:

Given the Monster Motion has 4 groups of pinouts, but only uses one of them, I'm cautiously optimistic. Has anyone tried this?
In looking at pages 92/93 of the manual describing theory of operation, can I check the output from the CPU with a DMM, or do I need to get a logic probe?
Thanks all - from Frankie and I.
