This is a quote from a member that gave me advice on my MSF head not turning. I went to ebay got a motor for 8 bucks repined the connectors and it hasn't failed me yet......
Sega used an Airtronics servo for the head on Frankenstein. For some crazy reason the early Airtronics servo's had a different pinout than all the rest of the r/c related servo's on the market. (JR, Hitec, Futaba, etc) I guess so you would buy there receiver along with there servo's. So Sega built the boards with a pinout to only allow a early Airtronics servo to be plug and play. Now any cheap standard servo will work for the head. You will just have to arrange the pins to the early Airtronics pinout. Check this thread out for pinout reference. Also the pins are labled in the manual for the servo driver board if you are not sure which pin is what. Use connector 1 on the driver board.

Heres a service bullentin on the driver board. If you have a O-scope laying around you can see if it is faulty
