I have a Mr. and Mrs. Pac-man pinball machine where I can't get the diverter to act right. When the machine is turned on or when the game is in attract mode the diverter should be all the way to the left. When a game is started the diverter should go straight up to open up both lanes. When I start a game my diverter goes all the way to the right. I aligned the diverter to what I thought it should be but now I'm questioning that I did it right. I believe this gate is energized during the game until it is triggered to disengaged to block the outer lane drain. Does anyone have any ideas of what may be wrong here? I don't think this is a stcuk on coil problem because it has to activate during the start of a game to get the diverter in the right position. It would also like to know what transistor is linked to this diverter.
