This weekend I will be moving into a new house. This means moving my 5 “babies” about 5 miles away. While I have moved pins in the past, this time it will be all 5 at once. In the past, I have put 2 in each bed of a pickup and driven very carefully. Should I tip them on the back end, wrap in cellophane and put in the uhaul? Or just remove the legs and slide into several pickup trucks?
Looking for well wishes for a safe and happy move for my pride and joys! LOL

only 5... you will be all good

Just wrap them well, take your time, and dont hurt your back.

Congrats on the move and new place! How many more will you be able to fit?

I will be able to fit just about as many as I want. Almost 5k sqft house. And my wife loves pinball too! WoZ RR should be next and then MMr.

Yeah, 5 is like no problem at all. I moved 5 at a time (like 8 times) when I moved.

no sweat. I have had to move all 50 of mine twice due to flooding threats. 5 is a cake walk. get moving blankets card board and straps or shrink wrap. Easy peasy. As mentioned take your time and get some help to make things easy. Enclosed trailer is best. 6x12 is perfect.

Lots of room to pack them in and strap off safely.
    Good luck.

    Luck-
You got this. The harbor freight modified lift dolly is best purchase ive ever made. Used it twice yesterday to move and work on pins.
My record is 27, twice in 2 days.

most of the damage occurs on the bottom of the cabinets from sliding them in and out of pickup beds. blanket wrap the machines then clear plastic them well, don't forget the padding between the head and the side rails, should have no issues.

wrap and then wrap some more , don't cheap out on covering and wrapping , and secure well in the back of the truck

You need any help? I am sure we can get the APPL crew to help, oh wait, we will be playing Saturday afternoon, you going to miss this one?

also, if sliding them around wrapped or unwrapped. use the two pieces of cardboard method. makes in and out of truck beds and trailers a breeze!!!

Thanks for the offer buble! I have 6 guys and 5 pickups. I’ve moved them before. Just not all at once. I’m sure will be fine. Gotta fill me in on APPL. Was thinking of starting up a northwest valley club

Let me know if you want to go to a tournament as a guest sometime, we have them about monthly, 10 to 11 league tourneys a year.

Oh, and nice collection... looks strikingly familiar for some reason...

Easiest move I did was rent an open u haul trailer. When people are loading a truck you have to wait till someone gets in then out but with an open trailer many people can just go around the sides and load all together by dropping things in on the sides

Well, only 1 casualty. And it was totally my fault. Move went perfect no problems. While setting up Pinbot, the drill I was using to put the 2 front legs on torqued too much and spun outta my hands. Fortunately it did NOT crash into the backglass. Unfortunately it did crash into the plastic topper and shattered one side. I had no more grip strength left and just couldn’t hold on. I will live with it tho.

    Great lineup!

Just wrap them and be careful. Go slow, and get someone to help.
