Kidding aside, my family is in Florida and I've looked at some EMs out there, anything kept outside of a climate controlled environment for too much time was sure to have rust, moisture damage and quite often termites. I'm referring to something left in a garage, shed or (gasp!) carport. We're spoiled in SoCal, our "barn finds" aren't usually too bad. I do have one game that came from Florida-it took me waay too many hours to de-corrode the thing and get it to work right. After that I promised myself no more Florida projects. You know how hard it is to not check Craigslist when I'm out visiting the family!?!? Hopefully more NoLa folks will chime in and tell you how their games are doing and how to regulate the humidity.
