I took my family to pick up our pin and rented one of their 3' x 5' trailers. Took the legs off, slid it right in, and strapped it down. Kept it (relatively) warm and very dry for the 4 hour drive home through the pouring rain. I would recommend it to anyone... like $15 + tax.

If I had to actually drive something, I would get the bare bones cheapest option both from an up-front fee and a gas mileage standpoint.
