I just won a coin pusher off of flea-bay, and the seller suggested that it not be laid on its back (should be transported upright).

Now, the person I'm buying it from does not seem very savvy when it comes to these types of things... claims she bought it when a bowling alley shut down. So just trying to see what others think on this... any reason why I shouldn't transport a coin pusher on its back so it fits in my mini-van? its only 130 mile trip.

Should be fine. Just before you plug it in make sure no coins have ended up on boards or anything else.

Maybe make sure the pusher mech is fully recessed as well? Never moved one but just a guess

Mine spent over an hour ride on its back, zero issues. Like mentioned, check for coins in electrical prior to power up.

They say not to lay soda machines/refrigerators down due to the oil from the compressor entering the lines and blowing it. Just wait 24hrs after standing them back up, no issues.

They say not to lay large vertical air compressors on their sides....they were right, lol....There was a lot of oil to clean up that day lol... Didn't hurt anything tho..

After a 3.5 hour ride on it's back.... absolutely no issues.
