Hey all. I picked up a Bally Motordome machine at an estate sale and have been slowly restoring it. One major problem I have is with the sound -- it does make sound out of both speakers, but it is barely audible even with the volume dial turned to the max.

Any thoughts on trouble shooting this? Is it simply a blown soundboard or could there be something else going on here?

Thanks. For what it's worth, the potentiometer does adjust the sound -- from mute to just barely audible. Not sure if that information sheds any further light on my problem...

From what you guys are saying it sounds like the previous owner may have intentionally killed the sound! Nonetheless, I'd like to discover for myself the awefulness of the sound it makes....

Thanks all...well, demonstrating my newbie lack of experience, I only had to play around with the soundboard and tighten things up to get it working. I appreciate all of the counsel.

And you all are right -- the sound is pretty awful.
