One or more normally open switches are sending power to the score motor... Some simple things to check: See if any of the coin chute switches are stuck in the closed position; make sure the score reels are fully resetting to zero... Do you have a schematic for the machine? The schematic can tell us what relays and switches might be sending power to the score motor...
