What, in your opinion, would be the most outrageous music pin which would never be built in production?
What would be in the pin?

    #2 3 months ago

All of them listed would never be made.
They just don't have the fan base in 2020.

    RuPaul.

Stern Playboy could be re-themed into an awesome Drag Race pin.

    Cannibol Corpse

I want a Black Dahlia Murders pin

    GG Allin.

Not on the list, but would love to see a Pink Floyd or RUSH pin. With their members starting to pass away, it could be a nice commemorative edition, I just think that their fan base is no longer the target demographic. My "smart-ass" choice would be Nickleback. Let's hope that one never gets green-lighted....

Meatloaf: Bat Out of Hell Edition with the kind of artwork Heavy Metal should have had.

    #10 3 months ago

Parliament would be pretty sick though...

    #11 3 months ago

"Rage Against the Machine" ... with super tight tilt, wide outlanes, flipper gap, lightning flippers & a Power ball

    #12 3 months ago

Motörhead. Would love to see it.
An Ozzy pin...with modes that reference Biting the head off a dove and a bat. Let’s not forget what he did at the Alamo either. Modes of events of his life that are life legendary rock star moments. Would have to cover his career kind of and not just an era or album.

Cake would be a personal wishlist pin for me. Just like a lot of their music.

Dead Kennedy’s would be another that would never be made.. too political.

There is an endless list of bands that either don’t have a big enough following or are just too edgy.

    Bjork and the Wiggles.

Really, most music acts, no matter how big in the 80s 90s or 2000s will ever get a pin, let alone an outrageous act.

For example, the five top acts based on number of weeks they had a song on the Billboard top 100 from the 80s:

    1. Prince
    2. Darrell Hall and John Oates
    3. Billy Joel
    4. Madonna
    5. Michael Jackson

Not going to see a pin.

I personally might like the following 1980s though they are also unlikely:
Elton John (#8) Journey (#13), Chicago (#18) REO Speedwagon (#23) Bob Segar (#26) Foreigner (#38) The Police (#74)

Van Halen (#35) or Queen (#50) might ...

I believe there’s a market for a rap/hip hop pin but not holding my breath waiting for it to be made.

    Lawrence Welk

    DEVO or Public Enemy.

I think Prince could. I’ve heard his licensing is a lot more attainable than say MJ or Madonna. I’m certainly rooting for a Prince game.

Can Rocky Horror count as a music pin? That’ll never happen either - even though it would be awesome.

    Quoted from Greenandwhite:

I believe there’s a market for a rap/hip hop pin but not holding my breath waiting for it to be made.

I don’t think that market exists. Not even a limited release market.

    #20 3 months ago

Weird al could have a great pin. But that will never be made.

Well that is interesting! Most generations are familiar with the cult classic, it crosses Sci fi and horror lines and even has a Meatloaf song - would make a great homebrew pin if nothing else but I think it could be successful commercially.

    R Kelly

    #23 3 months ago

    Clutch pin

    #24 3 months ago

    B-52’s is another - just think of the legendary callouts;

A physical ball lock “Love Shack.”

    Hit the Rock Lobster!

Shoot the Ramps to tune to Channel Z!

Take a trip to Private Idaho!

    Hallucinate *THIS* Pluto!

Shot the scoop to start the STROBE LIGHT!

Complete all modes to start a *Party out of Bounds!*

Take a bite right out of Quiche Lorraine! Woof!

    #25 3 months ago

Beastie boys pinball machine would be cool.

    #26 3 months ago

It would be such a long list that I wouldn’t even know where to begin

    #27 3 months ago

    BEAKER FTW

    #28 3 months ago

    System of a Down

    #29 3 months ago

The things that could be done with GWAR as a theme... Makes me want to homebrew.

    #30 3 months ago

Most of these aren't even outrageous.

GG Allin is the best answer given so far.

    I'll say Wendy O. Williams. God I would love a W.O.W. pinball.

    Circle Jerks

    #34 3 months ago

Los Del Rio music pinball machine would be annoying as all get out. Especially if it only had one song used during the whole game. Macarena

My vote would be for a really great Rolling Stones music pinball machine. Using only their underground recordings. Star Star, Andrew's Blues, C*cksucker Blues, songs like that. And when you hit the start button, some of the racy things Mick would ask his German audiences.

    LTG : )

    #35 3 months ago

    Wu-Tang Clan - I would buy this.

Michael Jackson - Neverland Ranch Bedtime Edition (I would NOT buy this one)

    #36 3 months ago

ABBA - might only sell a couple in Sweden. Just imagine flipping to “Fernando”, and reaching “Dancing Queen” wizard mode.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts might have potential, however. Black and white Playfield graphics with some color highlights.

“I love to play pinball, put another quarter in the coin slot, baby...come and take the time to flip with me!”

Both are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but definitely opposite sides of the spectrum.

    #37 3 months ago

The Bee Gees , sit that right next to the ABBA pin

    #38 3 months ago

    Zamfir the pan flutist
    Mac Davis
    C W McCall
    Bananas at Large
    Red Peters

    #39 3 months ago

I might enjoy a Sweet pin, but that would never be made.

Actually, you've not heard my PinSound disco orchestration I made for Getaway that uses "Stayin Alive" for the main track . . . not that bad, especially with the opening riff on loop while the ball is in the shooter lane.

    #41 3 months ago

    Weird Al Yankovic

    #42 3 months ago

"Dude, your pinball machine smells like shit"

    #43 3 months ago
    Quoted from Krupps4:

    Weird Al Yankovic

    Featuring . . .

    "Eat It"

    "My Bologna"

    "I Lost on Jeopardy"

    "Pretty Fly for a Rabbi"

    "Amish Paradise"

    "I Love Rocky Road"

    "Couch Potato"

    "Another One Rides the Bus"

    "Living with a Hernia"

    "Like a Surgeon"

"Smells Like Nirvana" - My #1 Wierd Al parady by far, and still every time I watch the video I see something new

    . . . and more

    #44 3 months ago

Now this could be a good one. So many modes could be made from their songs
    Escape from the prison planet
    Space grass
    Mob goes wild
    Pure rock fury
    Electric worry
    And so on
