I don't agree with your worst list, but that Gottlieb Frontiersman is awesome. I love it.
Quoted from JoeJet:Medusa
Mata Hari
BK2K
I don't know how I forgot to throw Mata Hari in there. Good call!
Back when a pinball theme could be a historic stripper/spy. My game from another thread.
Just about any Bally from the late 70's through the early 80's would fit the bill. Here are some of my favorites:
Fathom
Silverball Mania
Mata Hari
Jungle Queen (not Bally, but thrown in for good measure)

I'm glad to see some Zaccaria love because some of their artwork is extremely good looking. Perhaps even beyond many of the big favorites mentioned around here. Shame they weren't more commonly found. My favorite four are:
Combat
Queen's Castle
Time Machine
and of course Farfalla
Best looking modern machine is WOZ. Just beyootiful.

Same goes for this frightening beauty.
Quoted from wcbrandes:That Zaccaria is beautiful but looks like something the Brady Bunch crapped out!
I agree with you on the beauty of the game (congrats to zippy),but more reminiscent of 'Laugh In' I think.
Quoted from zippydapinhead:My Zaccaria Moon Flight...
Wow. That is a really cool machine!
Played a fully restored Xenon a few weeks back and it was definitely the sexiest pin I've ever had my hands on.
Time to wake this thread up....
I can't believe no one mentioned Metallica! But I have to say Paragon and The Lost World are up there with Xenon and Fathom. I guess I like Symmetry...notice how nice the art is centered it draws your eyes to the center of the pf...also the detail on the outlane switches are just gorgeous.

I agree most of the Bally's from this era were just stunning.
Here's my favourite.
I don't think there is a single most beautiful machine, but there several that are at the top.
Just some examples:
Barracora
Split Second
Genie
Viking
Star Gazer
Looks like Paul Faris is the common string.......

If I had to pick one and only one, for pure looks, it would be:
WOZLE
It is not my favorite theme, but it looks great.
The cabinet art quality is by far the best.

I'll throw in
Electra

... and from Williams Algar. LIONMAN!

That'll depend the number of toys it has...
