Was gonna say Scared Stiff...but BBB is tough to beat!

Now you'll have to go with your second favorite pin...... DIAMOND LADY

#53 10 years ago

Yes, nice!

#54 10 years ago

CV and Fathom.

#55 10 years ago

tom has a nice complete look to it

#56 10 years ago

Another vote for Totan!

#57 10 years ago

For early SS games Bally is the obvious choice and there are other worthy candidates like Genie and Farfalla. But I'm going to stray off the beaten path and say Catacomb.

CFTBL has the total package:
Translite
Playfield
Cabinet
Backboard
Speaker panel

#59 10 years ago

as much as I want to like luci, it looks like stern ran out of every color in their crayon box except the all variations of red
that, and the band members don't flow very well with the devil girls on the playfield

My favorite lookers are BB and then SS, but that is a good argument for CFTBL. I love the SS playfield and translite, but the crate pictured on the sidebox of SS isn't nearly as cool as the sidebox of Creature. The MB playfield is terrific, too, but the sidebox is not one of my favorites.

Wizard!

Thought this was proven, not sure why the discussion was reopened.

#63 10 years ago

Tron
Haunted House

#64 10 years ago

Don't think anyone has mentioned Judge Dredd yet...great artwork all around...playfield, backglass & cabinet!

#65 10 years ago

Good Lord Boyet, my beauty, though but mean,
Needs not the painted flourish of your praise:
Beauty is bought by judgement of the eye,
Not utter'd by base sale of chapmen's tongues.

WOZ is definitely a dish fit for the gods.

#66 10 years ago

Of the games I've seen in person, TOTAN AINEC.

#68 10 years ago

I actually think the playfield of RBION is quite good looking.DSC_1239.jpgDSC_1239.jpg

#69 10 years ago

Definitely one of mr Popadiuk trio of TOM, CV or TOTAN

Before that, I really like Gottlieb's Spirit

#70 10 years ago

Wizard of Oz. Is a beautiful pin, overall. It really stands out.

#71 10 years ago

80s: B: Fathom, Centaur, W: Barracora, Sorcerer, G: Black Hole, Spirit
90s: TOTAN
2000's: none. I'll never consider 're-used screened movie images' as "art", which is how most recent machines are put together.

+1 on the Abra Ca Dabra

#81 10 years ago

BBB head and shoulder above anything else, esp under the black light. Since no one mentioned it yet, I'll nominate WH2O as a distant second.

#82 10 years ago

Centaur
CV
XMENLE WOLV

#83 10 years ago

Tron LE with the chick backglass !

#95 10 years ago

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

#97 10 years ago

This was the most beautiful pinball machine I had ever seen. It was a very happy day.

Apart from the playfield, Diner is an exceptionally good looking pin. I think it has my favorite backglass, and the cab art fits the theme perfectly.
