I can already see an optimus prime mod in the future.. that one looks kind of cheap..
Looks very cool but a couple things worry me that may easy get damaged....bumble bee (yellow Camero) will probably start having is bumper fall off after a bunch of hits and the ramp transformer decal may get worn off in no time as well. Wonder what the TF launch pad is going to shoot the ball at??
For what could be possibly the best theme for a pinball machine ever... I am underwhelmed at the toys, art package and layout. Looks disappointing to say the least.
Maybe some action figure mods will make it look a bit better, but Stern really has to stop with the Sticker book look playfields. Yikes! ....again?
Really.. buy a Transformers sticker book, or google images from one. The pics are exactly the same. So are the text bars under the characters. Way to go art dept. Give us something original and creative already.
aside from the potential for damage, the game looks cool. if the optimus and megatron transform then finding a mod or replacement for it could be difficult as well. keep it goin' gomez!
I'd like to see the full retro mod with the cars. Optimus as a semi, Megatron as a gun, Bumblebee as a Bug.
Even if it's cheaped out, to spend extra on the game I'd want it to look the way I want it to look.
Those 'movie' transformers aren't the ones I grew up knowing and loving.
I really hate to be negative regarding new pins but I have to agree with those that think these toys look too cheap for a pin going for over 7K. I hope it has great gameplay to compensate. I am not sure why Stern continues to cut corners on some of these things with competition that seems unwilling to cut corners. And most of you know I am usually the one defending Stern in the forum.

Hmm I would agree if it were another theme but to me the models just look like I remember the transformers toys looking like so it is difficult to see how they could be inmproved without leaving the theme behind.
The use of the car has been used elsewhere hasn't it? I can't recall where though? Anyone?

eehh I disagree but that's okay. They look pretty cheesy to me. I would expect something like in Anim's picture. The plastic tank with the track being the same color of the body I don't know I just wish they used better looking models I guess.
That is the point, the toys look like the cheap ones we played with. I get the feeling everybody was thinking they would step it up a notch like the movie. I am glad most were thinking the same thing about the look of the toys.
If it plays well, it can still be rated well.

Like these TDA?
Let the aftermarket modding begin!
Anim8ormatt could not said it better.
"Those store bought toys, don't sit well with a 7K pin!"
I am very glad i did not pre order the machine. I don't hate Stern, I own Spiderman, and I am really looking forward on buying The Avengers if it comes out, but if they don't improve the quality of their machines, I will be looking at what JJP has to offer then, and make the choice between JJP and a Williams Pinball Machine.
and TDA, you are right, I also hate to be negative about pins but they toys do looks terrible.
