Nice but needs a little more work!

As you can see even though the house is missing part of the strategy is to keep the ball going around and the "tornado" continuing before it goes in the outhole.

So far...

Its pretty cool being able to "peek in" at the design process. I think it will make me really appreciate the game that much more.

Looks great.

I can't wait to get this. I read they only have around 60 Emerald City's left at this point.

#9 8 years ago

#10 8 years ago

I ordered one and keep wondering if it is worth it. Every update helps put my mind at ease

#11 8 years ago

Don't worry, I think we're in good shape! I can't wait, it's so cool to see it develop.

#12 8 years ago

It looks like some tweeks already,at the top right (munchkinland) there were some preliminary drawings of 3 chutes/lanes(WOZ),This whitewood shows 2 lanes..maybe now OZ,As there must have been a reason to need that space for ball movement or to get it to flow correctly. It is interesting to be kinda involved and get progress reports almost weekly now.Price expected to go up in a week,so jump on board if you are still on the fence.
Jack says it will be a 5 ball game.

#13 8 years ago

wow a 5 ball game, are you kidding?

#14 8 years ago

It is really starting to come together now and fast!

#15 8 years ago

anyone remember the due out date?
thought it was next year?

#16 8 years ago

HDCity,Still talking 1st quarter of 2012 as I understand it,I have had my WOZ deposit in since
1-18-2011 and cannot believe how fast 6 mos. has gone by.Maybe in 6 more mos. they will have some machines in production.
The machine is to have a smaller upper right flipper(munchkinland)as shown.I was wondering
about that full size flipper(as it appears) on the upper left playfield(witches castle),it looks like overkill/possibly over powering the ball for such a small area?I suppose they will put a coil with less power there so as not to pummel the targets and other items in that small area, what are your guys thoughts on that?

Woah, is that a slingshot kicker_ under the lanes (why can't i remember the term for them) in the upper right?

Also, clock target? Looks like a clock target. Same spot as the clock target. It's a clock target! I don't know whether to say he needs to pick a different color so it doesn't look as much like TZ, or whether he's to be praised for using the same target so there's a ready supply of replacements (since, like TZ, that target on WOZ will likely get pounded to crap).

The rainbow targets look beautifully laid out - I just hope they don't end up getting mangled like standup targets sometimes do. Hopefully they'll be using reinforced targets (particularly for the lower ones, which are pretty exposed)

I like the little loop. I wonder how fast it'll be...

#23 8 years ago

I want some elves for x-mas.

#24 8 years ago

The slingshot in the upper right looks like it will give that area some action. Still think they should think about a way to remove the mini playfields without having to take the the flipper off. TSPP was not too bad, WWF RR was a huge pain with flippers and diverters, but then again it's just one flipper per playfield. Looks like it is going to be a fun game! Can't wait to see the playfield artwork.

#25 8 years ago

Looks like the metal guide just above the flipper and hole on the tornado pf will get pounded to hell.

At least on the right side, I think it's going to be very rare that you'd have to take the mini-playfield off... I suspect that the house mechanism will be accessible through that square hole, the slingshot kicker will be accessible from below playfield, as will those switches... so there isnt much reason to remove it.

Anyone else notice the magnet on the main playfield just below the exit from the right mini-PF?

Indeed - on the whitewood you can see the slot for the switch for the third lane, too...
