Installed the deadworld mod then put the new rom in -
turned it on and all sorts blew - definitely a few fuses
no screen - just bad noise madness.

The chip seemed to go in very easily and tightly.
Does it need to go in backwards? Seems unlikely,
i don't want to mess with it now.

i've put the old rom back in now and it seems to be ok
'cept blown fuses so no solenoids or maybe worse.
i will check tomorrow.

Is this at all normal? What might cause this?

So yeah - i tried the new ROM chip yesterday
and it blew the same fuse both time - solenoid 7A
but it's clearly not the only problem as there's garbage on the dmd.

Replaced the ROM with L6 and new fuse - playing fine.

Is it common for ROMs to be faulty? If so - i'll try another.
