    Jungle King $400 austin.craigslist.org link
I might be interested at half that, I'm not really into the EM stuff.

If anyone on Pinside wants it let me know and I'll be happy to check it out and haul it to my house.

    Yes, it's a scam. We're keeping a list of them https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/psa-fake-craigslist-ads-in-multiple-cities
If you can post a screenshot and a link to the ads when they come up we can get them flagged quicker.

    Quoted from Spider3582:

Where do you think that guy got 4000 dollars from?

I looked at a 1962 Gottleib Cover Girl this morning that the guy said was worth over $4000. We had a nice chat, I offered $50 and left my number.

    Quoted from Matesamo:

I downloaded an app to notify me when a listing with the word Pinball goes up and I am still often too late, lol.

You don't need an app, CL will offer to set up an alert for any search you perform. You'll get an email as fast as your provider can deliver it to you.
Easy to set up - Perform a search, click the "save search" link to the right of the search box that appears at the top of the CL results page. You'll be taken to your CL account page. Check the box if you want to set an alert.

CL is currently the biggest classified site by volume. It's also free. It's no more risky to use than your local newspaper classified ads were, or the regional papers like Autotrader, Thrifty Nickel, American Classifieds, et. al.

If you're not performing your due diligence by knowing who you're dealing with before meeting it's irrelevant what medium you're using to find the deal.

    Quoted from EvanDickson:

I'm confused... can people just delete other people's ads on that thing?

Theoretically yes but practically no. You can "flag" an ad. It takes a number of flags from what the software perceives as different users to remove an ad. The number it takes is variable based on region, category, and sometimes local situations on a particular CL board.

    Quoted from uncivil_engineer:

It seems to me that this is self correcting now. You obviously won't cut him any deals ever again. Do this to enough people, and the buy effectively removes himself from the market. So it becomes a short term gain, long term loss.

It corrects faster when you out the flippers to the community. Their deals go away faster leaving more for people who actually want the games.

    Dont fall for it!

We have a special thread for the scams. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/psa-fake-craigslist-ads-in-multiple-cities
I've seen fewer of those in the past year. Not sure if it's CL changes, me using it less, scammers moving on to other methods, or some combination of all of the above that's causing it.
