Quoted from movingpictures:Beat the Clock - $8000
Jungle Lord - $8000
http://www.kijiji.ca/v-jouets-jeux/ville-de-montreal/pinball-machines-for-sale/1021547104?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
Ad says: "3 early 70s pinball machines, working order, takes 25 cent coins, rare classics
$8,000 each or all 3 for $20,000"
What's the third game? (Not that it matters at that price)
Pictures are only of Beat the Clock and Jungle Lord.
Quoted from movingpictures:Want a Pinball Machine?! Email me with a price range over 1700$ and i will find you one. Do not contact me unless your serious.
This is awesome. Instead of contacting random strangers listing pins on CL or eBay, contact this random stranger and he'll do it for you! But only if you are serious. What could possibly go wrong?
Quoted from witty:Looks like someone ruined a perfectly good whitewater
I hope that's just photoshopped.
Quoted from pardue:I thought I had seen everything ebay has to offer: until I ran across this gem.
No pictures....good condition...needs a flipper....otherwise GREAT condition ????!!!!!???
Priced at 4,495.00. lets start at 1,100.
ebay.com link » Pinball Machine Fish Tail
And joined Ebay yesterday! What could be better?
Quoted from wayout440:Taxi is not a $2500 game in this condition.
But it's a Marilyn Taxi, and he has the manual! That alone doubles the price.
Quoted from Ring-Them-Bells:Ask him what's under the tarp....
Blue plastic tarp = classy!
Also, machine must be spotless clean, since I think I see a bottle of windex on the floor............
Quoted from pardue:Beer cans on top of unassembled pins for the win !!!! Thank you for your applause.
atlanta.craigslist.org link
"I have had both of these machines operational"
Yeah, then you just took them both completely apart for no reason..........................
How many of those home model games did they make?
And when will people catch on that they are not real arcade pinballs?
Argh!
Quoted from cosmokramer:he says it rare....
"Only made for one year."
Unlike most pinball machines, I guess.
Quoted from egyptrus:This one is titled "custom pinball machine"
This guy has been running ads all over the state, and now as far away as Chicago.
No clear pics, no pics with the machine turned on, and he's asking for vehicles in trade.
Delusional.
Quoted from ForceFlow:I like how the photo is reversed
Hey, Etagrats is a great game!
Quoted from thedefog:Triple action - $5000 obo
cnj.craigslist.org link
You can be sure it's minty, mint, mint when there are no photos.
Quoted from Lame33:Ummm... They want $3,000 for a Paragon and they can't be bothered to wipe off the glass?
And the 55 gallon drums next to it are not suspicious in the least....................
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Maybe if the seller took all the junk off the game BEFORE he started taking pictures...
ebay.com link » Bally Bow And Arrow Arcade Pinball Machine
This sold for $50. That might actually have been a steal for the buyer. Assuming he can dig it out from under all the crap.
Quoted from KillerDragon:Dunno why he would put my name on the ad.
How would he know someone is on Pinside, much less who they are on here? I don't think that has come up when I have bought through CL. Is he just naming random users?
Quoted from skywelker:Mibs pinball machine with class Batman (?) paint job? Only $2K!
raleigh.craigslist.org link01212_92m2oaCoDHI_600x450.jpg
Full text of the ad: "Mibs Vintage pinball machine works great!!!!!"
"Vintage", "works great", and extra exclamation points. He's hitting all the bases here.
Quoted from bob_e:Seller claimed to get $3K for his pinball,
Why did the seller think anyone would care?
(Except potential robers, or robbers.)
Quoted from sunnRAT:Double Dragon arcade - $2,795
Yikes.
Imagine what he wants for the pins in the background.
Quoted from Black_Knight:There is a new 6MDM movie coming out
6 Mill does not buy what it used to, back in the day. You can easily spend 6 million these days and get a very mediocre cyborg secret agent.
Quoted from Pahuffman:BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAA
" target="_blank">bham.craigslist.org link
This same machine was on there for $400 2 months ago. Someone thought they would turn a HUGE profit. I sent an email asking if it was the same one.
For posterity:
BALLY Air Aces Pinball Machine - Collectors Pinball Machine - $5000
BALLY Air Aces Pinball Machine
Good used condition
Lights are out
Parts are all intact
Fun for hours and hours
From a smoke free home
I like the "Lights are out" part.
Quoted from Jean-Luc-Picard:But, What pin is this?
I'd be tempted to go look at it, just to see what it might be.
Quoted from jwwhite15:I guess him and his brother should talk more.
I knew a guy whose wife drove off with her car after he drained the oil to change it, and before he refilled it. He did not call her a d*ckhead when he told the story though. Maybe that's the difference between your wife and your brother.
Quoted from lmsybiatb:Mike Tyson was the original owner, ignore the fact that Mike Tyson was 10 when this pin was new.
Well, maybe it wasn't THAT Mike Tyson.
Quoted from toyotaboy:I have no lights or flash on my camera, squint and you might see the playfield
Love the description. Apparently he's a fan of brevity.
"Williams 1948 pinball el paso works good needs a little work hums nice cabinet "
Quoted from dirtbag66:Who is it?
He at least thinks it's Jesse from Pincades.
https://pinside.com/pinball/community/pinsiders/jamaster10
He does tend to post a lot on CL with his stuff for sale. No idea if he flags other people's stuff. Seems like a good guy to me.
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:This guy needs to stop using his daughter and wife in his videos and photos.
I thought they were his Mom and his Aunt.
Quoted from markp99:I dunno, I'd hang that on my wall. As an art piece, it's actually not terrible at all.
for $150?
Quoted from wayout440:All kinds of work needed
Apparently "everything works" does not mean that everything works.
Quoted from ForceFlow:This is...erm...different
THAT IS AWESOME!
not $2K awesome, but awesome.
Quoted from Dan63:How do you know what a fair price is for any pinball machine? Is there a guide or rule of thumb that you should follow?
First rule of thumb: If it shows up in this thread and we are laughing at it, then it is not a fair price.
You can start a "Price Check" thread for any specific games you run across. Just remember that everyone has their own opinions. What's reasonable for some is not for others. Some sellers are way out in left field though. So they end up here getting laughed at....................
Quoted from vdojaq:Check this one out from the Ft.Wayne flipper:
I would, but it's gone now.
Quoted from Frax:What the heck!!!?!?
Didn't even take the legs off to do that atrocity.
Quoted from dirtbag66:Says he is one of the cops on the cabinet art.
That's classic!
from Ebay, not CL. But Wow.
ebay.com link: Pinball Machine Back To The Future Holy Grail Of Pinballs Coinop Mike J Fox

Best part is that he has RAISED the price. It was 20K when I saw it yesterday!
50K by X-Mass!
Quoted from nighttaco:omg, you guys should see the arrogance in this post...
denver.craigslist.org link
Hey now. His WCS has Pinstadium speakers. You can't beat that.
Quoted from Thizben:Get your very own “Pinball game machine” from 1947 for the low low price of $3500!

I like the additional rubber all the way across the playfield. Greatly increases ball times.
pin (resized).jpgThose big console stereos are cool. My parents have one that has been in their living room since before I can remember.
I would get one if I had another living room to put it in.
Would NOT trade a pin for one though. People seem to basically give those away.
Quoted from StrangeSubset1:I know this guy stomps this forum, so I'll probably get some heat and down votes, but 10,000 for a dracula?!?!?
[quoted image]
Is that an odd reflection, or is there a plasma disk near the coffin?
Did that wander over from Frankenstein? There's no electrical equipment in Dracula.
Quoted from bigguybbr:I think he's looking for a hitman. I guess it's fitting that he's 'Teed Off'
That begs the question, who would kill for a Teed Off, or better yet, who would be worth killing for a used Teed Off?
**Disclaimer - don't go killing people for a Teed Off**
Yep. It's a crap game.
You should get at least one decent game per murder.
Quoted from undrdog:The date is wrong. He doesn’t say if it’s the LE. He omits that it only gets fair ratings.
That's 1980 Bally Rolling Stones, not 2011 Stern.
Not really rare either way though.
Quoted from PinJim:Not sure I even want it
You know you want it. It's a pinball machine. And a System 11 at that.
Quoted from PinJim:I was trying be nice here by not outright calling the guy a moron, but…..
His last response to me:
“ I played it today it works great owned it for 30 plus years and no problems. It's programmable digital has circuit boards not tubes”
Say what? I never mention tubes or anything of the sort.
I want a pinball machine with tubes now.
Quoted from Whistles:The tactics that some of you use are just...ugh...
Quoted from PinJim:Is it just me, or is $1,850 a price for a fully working Dracula?
No. $1,850 is too high for a fully working Stern Dracula.
Quoted from PinJim:This one is close to me too. He is asking $750, so I offered $500. He said $650 is his bottom line. I'm on the fence about it too. I can fix it, no worries there. But will I ever get my money back out of it? I assume I'll drop $200 or so in parts during a rebuild. EMs are a hard sell.....
Yet, I'm itching for something to fix. Anyone near Louisville, KY have a SS machine in need of repair? Ha. I missing doing in depth board work....
[quoted image]
I would do it. But Golden Arrow is a game that I personally like. Seems like it would be 50/50 on getting your money back if you sell later.
Quoted from AndrewP:[quoted image]
And to make things worse, a web search for “reproduction artists picture screen” returned zero results!
Let's not just gloss over this being a pos home game. And apparently both diassembled and broken. Woof.
Quoted from WalrusPin:Guy's asking $2k over value and is complaining about low ballers
[quoted image][quoted image]
I'd say he's asking 2.5k (or more) too much. Look how much the head is sagging on each side.
Quoted from trolldownstairs:"Works well..." glass completely covered with junk and about an inch of dirt...
sacramento.craigslist.org link
Might be worth something.
$2,500? No.
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:I don’t understand how these idiots get these asking prices.
They see each others ads, and have no concept of the difference between insane asking price and actual sale price.
