My niece went to school with a kid who pretty much came to school in rags. Her family bought a bunch of new clothes and gave them to the kid. The next week the kid is still wearing the rags. It turns out the kid's parents returned the clothes to the store and got the cash. They apparently had some substance abuse issues. Despite the best of intentions, reality sometimes sucks......

I just saw a Pinball Wizard on American Pickers. The guy said it was a rare version with some differences in the backglass (regarding the snake buckle and hand location?). I suppose he might have been full of it. I can't find anything about it.
