This one made me laugh...$2900 for a VERY RARE game. Just missing a backglass that is not reproduced and doesn't boot. lmao

I keep seeing this guy in Little Rock AR asking $7,000 for his Eight Ball

Scammers will be “denutted”. Also where can I pick up some Kevlar lifetime rubbers?

    Quoted from newovad:

Can someone buy this game, pretty please? It's been listed since the date on the picture. And it's been relisted. It's actually listed three different places in the Nebraska area to maximize exposure. It gets bumped/updated every 24 hours like clockwork in all three locations.
    [quoted image]

Dang...picked mine up for $600. Might be time to flip lol

    #7317 3 years ago

Only about 3x what it's worth...where do people come up with these asking prices? I sent them an offer for $1,500

This guy has been posting this non-stop on facebook. Everyone laughs and mocks him, he removes the post, then reposts it. idiot.

    #7350 3 years ago

Anyone following this debacle (I think likely a scam)? Guy originally posted the game at $700. I thought it seemed like a scam, but emailed anyway. I decided to browse the pinside pics on the game and it's definitely a cropped photo from pinside.

    Quoted from RyanStl:

This just dropped to $2K. I guess the guy got realized he was over the moon high in price.

They responded to my email telling them they were way off on the price and asked if I'd be interested at $2K. I just responded 'no'.

This one still baffles me. I thought surely it had to be a scammer, but now I'm not sure. Did some guy just figure out he had something worth a lot more than his original asking price and go nuts?

Don't necessarily have a beef with the price, but the pictures look similar to what my kids would draw when they were 5.

Just came here to share this same one lol...I was happy to get $3,400 out of mine a few months ago. Definitely the mile HIGH city.

Where the Kansas City pinheads who know the story behind this Lady Robin? Somebody has been posting it on CL for over a year non-stop with prices from $750-1500 (maybe more I can't remember). Seems really odd to me. Definitely pricey for a woodrail.

    Quoted from Llabnip1972:

Best backglass art of the decade. 50k by xmas

Looks like they got an extra zero in there as I just saw the listing again at $2490. Still 4x what it should be. There were 4K of those things made. Not rare at all.

    #7631 3 years ago

I responded to the ad, "10K BY CHRISTMAS!!!!!"

    Capture (resized).PNGCapture (resized).PNG
    #7633 3 years ago
    Quoted from Apex:

When I saw that ad my first thought was that I can get a NIB for that asking price. My second thought was that I am pretty sure that pin is located in the Mexican desert where they buried Hank in Breaking Bad....

Hell I saw a platinum NIB pop up on FB from a guy I know for $7K. I considered buying it just for the deal.

    #7634 3 years ago

Trolling these clowns is too much fun.

    Quoted from Apex:

I mean, I have to give them some amount of credit for using the correct version of you're!

Credit where it's due (including my use of your I guess), but the ad is still hilarious to me. 10K by Christmas!

    Quoted from undrdog:

I am about to finish fixing up a 1950s Wms machine that I'm told is not a desirable title. Should my ad start at $3,000 or $5,000 ?

At least $7,000. Some guy I was messaging yesterday sold a Bally Skill Roll (nickel game) for $1,950 after 1 day of it being listed.

    #7772 3 years ago
    Quoted from AlexF:

$1950 for Skill Roll isn't too bad in this day and age. I paid more to get mine back.

I've never seen one and had no idea how much it was worth. More than I wanted to pay for one. I just looked a video of the gameplay and it does look like fun.
