Philadelphia area CL for an earthshaker
When I inquired if the price was $1975 or $2900, response came back:
"cost 4 me was a total of 2900
selling 4 1975 you pu tu es"
    Ummmm..... Nty

Oh come on....it's "CLEAN GOOD WORKING" probably because he jiggled the light sockets and gave all the moving parts (solenoid plungers included) a good shot of WD-40.

Condition "fair". I wonder how much it would be if it was "excellent"?

$4,000 Not Craigslist....but a laugh on eBay. Good thing the play field is cleaned and waxed. Want to protect the remaining paint!

Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop.

Game is serviced by a professional pinball technician to make sure it is 100% fully functional. All rubber rings are replaced, miniature lightbulbs and flashers are replaced, the playfield is cleaned and waxed, and any necessary mechanical parts are replaced or refurbished so your new pinball machine provides years of enjoyment.

Not too shabby? I wonder what shabby would look like? Why not just sand the playfield down to bare wood and clear it. Screw the artwork. That way you could just concentrate on the ball action and not be distracted by the art.

    Quoted from AntennaMan:

"Mine has all the original paint". Maybe you should look again.

"Mine has all the original paint"....probably means the original paint is still there, but is in powder form sitting in the bottom of the cabinet after being worn away from his lack of proper maintenance.

    Email him $1100 offers
whats the links I'll start it

I sent him an offer $1250. Cash. He replied "No, I only accept checks. Read the description." So I followed up with "ok, I give you a check."

actually not a bad deal. I'd offer him the $$$ but I really don't feel like doing that.

Geez, I'd assemble the legs and backbox all day long for $100 a game....line 'em up.
Well, I guess I really don't feel like doing that after all.

    "Plays like 1978
    Waxed every other week" <--

That is funny!! And I see the seller has 77 Feedback's and a score of 0% positive. Go figure.

Wow. $3400 including shipping. I got one I'll sell for half that price!!

Better hurry, this one won’t last.

He said it was "fully restored to tip top shape" when he got it, but now it has wear and tear on the play field and he rates it a 8 out of 10. Sounds like he didn't take care of it. Oh well, what do you expect for $6,000?

    #5945 11 months ago

Obtained from a local collector, this Bally pin is in GREAT condition for being 40 years old! The original playfield on the game shows only minimal wear, as you would come to expect on a game of this age. No cracked plastics. Back glass has one small scratch and has some lifting on the top edge and bottom edges, but isn't noticeable unless pointed out. There is no loss of artwork and the back glass still presents very well and looks AMAZING! All questionable switches and lamp sockets have been replaced and additional spares are included. See pics.

A fully functioning machine with the Molex connectors unplugged. That's pretty cool.

    #6018 10 months ago
    Quoted from Toucanf16:

It WAS functioning or IS functioning. I’m confused!

Also, he states "all original." So in if it was original, then it is functioning....or did it leave the factory not working? Assuming it is all original, and functioning with the molex connectors disconnected, then we have an engineering marvel! I'm confused.

    #6030 10 months ago

Paid $900 to restore this? I think they forgot to restore the playfield!

I want to make an offer on the Elvis pinball. Not sure how much. Doesn't look like it has any rust. I'm a diehard Elvis collector. First time I've ever seen one of his balls come up for sale. Maybe $8000 and see what he says? Wonder if he'll include shipping?

    #6055 10 months ago

Who in their right mind would pay anything close to this price for that game? 17,000 produced. Who cares if it's number 22. Makes the seller looks like a fool. Im by far from the price police, but ad's like this just make me say "What an idiot"

Send him a message telling him that the early production numbers were prone to failure. The modifications for reliability were typically completed around production number 200 and above. He's got a lemon!

that backglass is actually in really nice shape. Worth $200 just for that.

....and a nice straight coin door skin, probably worth another $100, and all the score reels are there....hmmmm

    #6567 31 days ago

$4,450. Probably not a good deal since shipping not included.

I kinda like the backglass the way it is. It's called character. And the cabinet, well, that is called patina. Certainly a one-of-a-kind.
