So... I don't know the whole story but it appears two guys are fighting over craigslist. I was just looking for project pin the other day and stumbled on this. There are yo momma jokes and other middle school style insults.

Thanks your swift response, i went through the description and the
duration of the item it was sweet-able for me, am okay with the price
and the condition pasted on cl. I am ready to make instant purchase.
My mode of payment would be in Certified Check and i
will arrange for a local pick up as soon as you get the check, because
that is the only inconvenient means for me and due to my work frame i
can not be able to get there and i promise everything will go smoothly
Concerning the pick up, i will arrange for it after you receive the
payment and it clears... Kindly get back to me with below info so
that i can proceed with the payment immediately if you are selling to
    Full Name:
    Address: Not P.O.BOX
    Postal Code:
    Total amount for the item
Phone Number: That i can send text
    Item Name
And as soon as this is provided, the payment will be overnight to you
and i will let you know when its mailed out. Thanks and i hope we
handle this in good faith while waiting to hear from you. i will add
an additional $20 so that you can hold it for me till the check reach
    Best Regards

I've had a response very similar to that. Just curious but lets say someone fell for that, how does this scammer make money off of it? I assume they are located in another country so they wont be shipping it internationally. I get these responses from time to time and I've wondered how that even works.

so tempted to price police/ correct this guy on the "rarity" of this game.

There is also a post where the picture is a dick... I didn't want to post that as it violates pinside and is unneeded but that's how low they are going. It was entertaining at first but now its just sad that someone takes pinball and pinball pricing that serious.

    DE Star Trek $3500
This guy keeps relisting this with no pics. It is perfect though so who needs pics. Here's the highlights:
"I did my research and many have sold for over 4,000 in poor condition"
    "originally sold for 9,800.00. delivered"

I love when people say they did their research and then you find out their "research" was simply looking on ebay...

This is rare, have never seen one before. What research are you referring to for the price of $4,500
Hi, I called some pinball distribution companies that deal with vintage machines, and one said can be worth as much as 4500, depending on the condition. Are you a collector?

You should tell him that his post is on a collector website and we are all making fun of his price...
