Hey, it does have both ptery's
Quoted from ShinyBall:"Only needs balancing and a tune-up once picked up and relocated to new site (standard procedure)."
The new owner should probably do a leg rotation too.
Quoted from agodfrey:Anyone have an old EM they don't want/ anyone want some 70's art?
Nah, that art is too large for me, I wouldn't be able to trade a small pinball machine for such a large piece of "art"
I did the same to a guy in Franklin Lakes with a Flash maybe two weeks ago. He had a meltdown. I responded with a sincere but pointed response. Something to the tone of listing an ad "Serious buyers only" but posting crappy photos and detail, along with an unrealistic price. He replied with a sort of recant and 'thank you', then lowered his price the next day. Still too high, but hey - a good pinball deed done.
I saw that and was going to do the same thing, but I didn't bother as every time you see a listing from Franklin Lakes, for anything, the price is way out of line. Lots of people there seem to be sheltered and a bit unrealistic, or maybe just greedy.
Quoted from PaulCoff:"Wont last long"
How do you fit a full sized arcade style pinball machine in your hose?
Quoted from vdojaq:He started at $5K to help pay for his new roof! I have a HUO one of these that I have coming up for sale, it will be under $3K. He will shit when he sees me list mine on CL.
I hope he shits before then.
Quoted from seeburg220:This one looks like it's been shot at, as well as smoke damage....and it can be all yours for $2k. This is the same clown that has the CF listed for $5k and it also looks like crap.
the one spinner looks nice, and I'm sure it'll clean up well.
I'm sure this must have been mentioned before but.....
The description is straight from an ipdb review.

This rare kept beauty( only 730 made!!).......
.......Has the add a ball option(which is rare!)........
I have seen others sell for much more.
Quoted from Mikala:Ebarf- $4,000 Home Version Fireball. Good thing he has a reserve.
ebay.com link » 1977 Bally Fireball Home Edition Pinball Machine
It's up to $41.01, I'd bid 42.01 as a goof, but with my luck I'd actually win the damn auction....then what?
Quoted from steviechs:Check out that custom backglass
like an ugly baby, someone was once proud of that. I'd like to see the cabinet art.
Quoted from igo4rams:Such a deal two lower cabinets for so little money! I should drive all day just to get them. Not!
I just asked them if they work. standby for the response.
Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:austin.craigslist.org link
$2000 Chicago Coin Bronco
Well the lights and everything work, and apparently this machine was ahead of it's time. Built in 1963, but from the 1970's
Quoted from Puffdanny:Maybe he traveled time and that's the future price
I don't recall, but I'm pretty sure I paid a bit less than that for mine.
Quoted from gdonovan:westernmass.craigslist.org link
The playfield looked like it had been underwater, it reeked of mice and rot bad and when I opened up the coin door could clearly see where wiring had been cut up and several parts were missing.
If I needed a pf glass or backglass (which is only fair) I might have met his counter offer of $100.. as it was did not see wasting my time further.
Can't tell from those great pics.
Quoted from alexmogil:It apparently transforms into an F14 Tomcat, too.
apparently
With his initial response, I'd let him sit and wonder why it doesn't sell.
Why does what you said deserve a knee jerk political response?
Quoted from VDrums2112:His last response was "I'll sell it for 2K before Christmas".... And that's where I'll leave it. He WON'T sell it for 2K. He should just keep it and enjoy it.
-Steve
He didn't say which Christmas
Quoted from VDrums2112:LOL - I thought the same thing. He assumes I'm liberal AND poor.
-Steve
and stupid.
Quoted from bkbirge:"And remember cash is king and no bs!!!!"

Te only BS I see is where he says that the parts are in fair to good condition.
Yeah,
I spoke with him on the phone and he kept harping on that. I couldn't tell him the truth, the kid was so proud.
I also picked up another machine from him, and while I was there, he kept repeating that he has 13 out of 20.
Quoted from ForceFlow:I thought it was a fake ad at first.
Not fake, but has been changed numerous times. Prices fluctuating, machines changing, originally used pics from the internet. The one consistency is his spelling and grammar.
The first ad said that he had 4 machines for sale. When I contacted him, he said that one was sold. Well, "it's not really sold", but its a great title (the ad had a pic of KOD) and it's 13 of 20, and his dad wanted to keep it, so they would only sell it for 3000.00. It's funny, as including the DJ, he had three games, not four. I told him about a DJ on CL that is in much nicer condition and asking much less. He was aware of it, but kept the price at 3k. It's coming down now. Personally, I might give him 400.00 for it. The pf looks good.
I picked up his Volley. Probably paid too much, as I usually low ball and I had to pay gas and tolls and it was raining and it took so much of my time and do you know all of the effort I have to put into this game to get it going?
Oh wait. That's a different thread
Anyway, the whole thing was pretty strange.
Quoted from RonSS:Here's one for only $5,500. Less than 40,000 made!!!! One of ours maybe having a laugh?
Price is dropping, and an interesting read.
Price dropped again. from 5,500.00 to 3,500.00 now 1750.00
I may have to post to nice em's on CL thread soon.
Lets all contact her, see if she ups her price. After all only 7 left, they must be selling like hotcakes, whatever that means.
Quoted from egyptrus:Here's one I just saw. Not only is the price crazy, I think the phrase "restored to original cabinet" is a bit of a stretch.
From the ad:
Very Nice Original art glass, restored to original cabinet, super condition playfield with all new parts. Spin a Card is one of the popular "A Card" series and are next to impossible to find in this condition for sale. Others in this series include Spot a Card, Pop a Card, Drop a Card, Flip a Card and Select a Card.

From the ad:
Movies from 1969 when this Spin a Card was brand new Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Midnight Cowboy, Easy Rider and Goodbye Columbus don't wait another decade for that vintage pinball machine you have always wanted. Spin a Card is the favorite machine of many pinball players.

Quoted from egyptrus:nice detective work
He referenced Pinrescue in his ad, as "This same unit refurbished just sold for 5k!"
Thing is Pinrescue had 5000.00 as the price, not necessarily what it sold for though, oh and yes, this was not a pin rescue restoration.
says to make him an offer "that is real"
does that imply he knows the asking price isn't "real"?
what does "real" mean If I offered him what I feel the game is worth to me, and I think it's a "real" offer, he may not.
Why not just post the "real" asking price?
It does look nice though
southjersey.craigslist.org link
actually not a bad deal. I'd offer him the $$$ but I really don't feel like doing that.
Quoted from cmack750:Anyone want a non working Tri-Zone with a bent coin door, rusted legs and a cabinet with no art for a grand? Originally posted for $500 a couple days ago......seller must have realized how "crazy good" of a deal that was so he doubled it.
I just ordered a maintenance kit
Quoted from winteriscoming:One of those models is a real dog...
Maybe she'll model for your new teeth. Oh wait....wrong thread.
Quoted from dmieczko:Are you kidding me? Who's bidding this up??? That PF is in really sad shape - tons of insert wear and serious planking. Why on earth is this 7K?
Mainly 2 bidders. 1 with 100% feedback, the other with 0%. Sounds fishy to me.
Quoted from egyptrus:Here's a Lethal Weapon 3 for a mere $4,000.

I love it when things are ridiculously overpriced and the ad contains something along the lines of this, which is in his ad:
"If you are seeing this post its still for sale. If you ask me if it is still available I will not reply to you."
Trust me, we know it's still available and we're not going to be asking. Your price alone ensures that it's still for sale.
ask him if everything works on it.
Quoted from hazmat7719:There is a Doodle Bug that every piece of metal inside of the cabinet head has rust. The seller wants $300. It has sold on eBay a few times and always re-listed. I would not pay more than $50-$75 for the salvageable parts.
it's on CL too. I contacted the seller, he said he could go to 275.00 and then tried selling me other stuff.
Quoted from hazmat7719:I forgot to mention that it was/is on craig's list and facebook marketplace also. The other arcade items that he has are in bad shape and over priced. When I contacted him, he informed me that I was not the right person for this machine.
he's probably correct about that. I'm not the right person either!
Quoted from mbaumle:Here’s a gem!
My pf isn't as nice, maybe i'll list it for 2,800.00
philadelphia.craigslist.org link
Anyone wanna check it out and let me know what they find?
It's probably a sincere ad, but still......
Quoted from DropTarget:I may have to go see it in person
I emailed to see if the "backglass" lights were working. No response!
Quoted from ToucanF16:Please do and report back!
too late. my schedule has changed. I won't have time. I'm always curious about those types of listings though
Quoted from bob_e:RFM $690 bouguss looking for email adresses

Oh, there's just so much wrong with this ad......

Untitled (resized).jpegand it didn't spend 40 years in an elderly couple's large estate. at least they probably weren't elderly 40 years ago.
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Better hurry, it's only $35K
but at least it's partially restored (almost original)
to be fair it's 35k OBO.
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:I had a scammer contact me to purchase a machine I was selling. He said he'd send me a cashiers check for my asking price plus $500 to pay the delivery driver he would send. Of course the scam is the fake check gets cashed, the driver shows up, takes my machine, I pay the driver. Then, a week later, my bank catches the fake check and pulls the funds back out of my account. ANYWAY... I played along with his scam and told him to make the check out to Sgt. B.A. Baracus. Told him I was part of an elite military squad wanted for crimes we didnt didnt commit. Also told him it had better not be a scam because "I pity the fool that tries to scam me". The dude didnt even bat an eye. I still have the fake cashiers check made out to Sgt. B.A. Baracus to this day
LOL, of course it didn't scare him off. Personally, I would have set up the deal, then called the authorities to be there when the driver showed up.
Quoted from SimpleSam:Being politically incorrect is a bonus feature of many EM games.
No, I meant the "serviced by the only pro techie the area" and that it will save your "lame Xmas"
Not CL, but FB
anyone interested in a Captain Fantastic bg?

ej (resized).jpgQuoted from bob_e:CountDown backglass Ebarf $1489 just for the glass
Free shipping though.
Quoted from RonSS:I'd bet a "friend " buys that, takes out insurance, and, well, you know.
I made an offer for the Count-Down glass. An offer for what the glass is really worth. Waiting to see what kind of reply I get.....so far, nothing.
Update: My offer expired without a response, but the Buy it now price was dropped to $1,340.10
Quoted from bob_e:Reproduction Glass about $300 and it is perfect
Yup, I offered less than that.
