Quoted from TecumsehPlissken:
WOW, that is a good one!
Gave me a good guffaw this morning
Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:
I went and took a look. Game was OK. Their kitchen really freaked me out though.
Looks like it is HUO?!?
Still kinda pricey for a unique fixer upper, in THAT neighborhood...
But doesn't everyone have 3 mortgages these days?
Oh wait, that would only apply for a GB pin.
Whoa with a Buy it Now of only $8,000, this pin is a steal, and from a seller with NO FEEDBACK too, I'm confident this is worth my "cash money", I'm going to give the guy my checking account number now!!
I think people have also seen the recent articles in the news on Pinball "resurgence" and jump to the conclusion every machine is worth thousands! I still like negotiating with folks who say they see them on Ebay all the time... they know what the machine is worth, but they only look at the "Buy it Now" price NOT what machines have actually sold for!
It's fun bursting their bubbles.
1) that makes sense
2) if he can't figure out how to list it, should he list it?
3) still funny!!
Quoted from jibmums:
first was a woman who was a schoolteacher who said she could use them in her classes. Sounded like a good home for WWII and Vietnam-era publications.
This person turned out to be one of the biggest ding-a-lings I've ever dealt with.
And she is teaching our yutes? Yikes.
Selling it as they need to free up space in the kitchen!

But seller does state OBO... and a solid 91% positive feedback rating.
Bid with confidence?
What cracks me up is the OP claims they purchased it new and trying to sell for $15k it has appreciated in value?
At least he was conservative only asking 800 above price guide, not double.
Great ad, thanks for that one, got a good chuckle out of it.
Yea those sites are funny, the final sell price might be low, but the bids only go up in increments of .01 but cost 1.00 per bid do the math it's a helluva lot more than $70.00
I could not resist so sent the seller a litany of questions, I mean they have a whopping 12 for feedback, what could be wrong. Curious if I will hear anything back.
IDK, I looked at, and reported, all of them expecting the usual empty box or bill of sale or whatever but none of that.
Hacked eBay account is my guess.
... some extra parts and bulbs...
translation: They fell off the machine, I have NO IDEA where they go
Quoted from fisherdaman:
Ahhhhhhh the classic "its rare" line
I've actually heard Mike, Frank and some of their appraisers say rare doesn't = valuable. Think I've heard that on Pawn Stars too, even from someone other than Rick! I think he tells everyone trying to sell something that line.
Wish those AP episodes got more airplay!!
