There's a local guy selling a BoP for $2500 obo on craigslist. I went over to his place the day after thanksgiving to check it out, the Williams logo on the side is blown out from fade. It has big chips at the top of both side of the cabinet and the quarter to half dollar sized wear mark to the wood at the ball drop on the left side. He wouldn't go lower than $2400.

Well that's likely close to what they paid for it. Keep in mind that a full restoration from a place like TNT would be pricier than a regular purchase. It would help them though to list details and more pics

That comet must be for hipsters

Lol, "Original cabinet could use some restoration. Game is fully operational, but scoring mechanism needs adjustment." translation, this machine is $2000 and needs work....

Clearly it's being used as a safe deposit box and has $24500 in valuables inside

there's something in that water up in lake county

meanwhile I think I'll drive down to freegoldwatch and play some pinball

this ad made me smile. it's funny too as there was a BSD for sale in Concord for $2800 or something just a few weeks back so it's not hard to even get some sort of sense for the market

Man alive, someone's really being creative with these pinball ads off CL lately.

    #610 9 years ago

Wow nice to see they did everything but actually fix the main cosmetic issue to the game. (S)

    #614 9 years ago

Ohhhh they used the good stuff, no expense spared

    #629 9 years ago

It's. Pinsider, it's clearly a commentary on the typical CL ad...

    So he buys used toasters?

    #734 9 years ago

The guy posting ads posted several in the hopes that a few would make it through without getting flagged. He must have many accounts for craigskist as they won't allow you more than one of the same type of ad.

I've seen at least 8 ads for the Marilyn version since thanksgiving time. They don't seem that "rare"

    #830 9 years ago

Silly me I always thought the gold edition was in fact gold or actually brass plated, hence the value. This one clearly is not

Never underestimate the public on Craigslist.
