Williams Bride of Pinbot Pinball Machine, 1991
Working pinball machine. Acquired a month ago, and I've played it maybe 5 times to verify it works. Works fines, with the following exception... the 2nd (upper) display is garbled and needs anything from a check that the wiring connections are seated properly to a full replacement ($200). I honestly haven't researched/ tested anything further, nor done any work on this. Cosmetically, please note the pictures. The playfield shows some bare wood, but no affect on ball play. This is an unshopped, but working Bride of Pinbot.
Quoted from Newstrish:hudsonvalley.craigslist.org link
$6000 AFM
Someone might need to check this out!
Quoted from DPhillips1965:...probally needs less than 50$ to get it running smooth.

Quoted from seeburg220:This may just take the cake....$8k for a Roller Disco.
The high asking price is to cover YouTube video production costs! It's retail, just offer a lower price, everything is negotiable!
Quoted from Frax:One of only 11,728 of these machines manufactured and distributed all over the world...
Wow, that's certainly a rare bird!
So
Quoted from Overphase:Yikes!

"Have 6-7pinball machines some work.some don't... "

Quoted from Mikala:...the only to questions that are important to me are: is the machine in a smoke free & cat free home?...
Lol! Cats can make a mess. Guess you won't be buying from any pinsiders on this thread!
Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:$2750 for a PIN-BOT. You Can't go wrong...
Except it's way overpriced (even with new score boards)
Quoted from TecumsehPlissken:atlanta.craigslist.org link
Is that your CL ad or did you just stumble upon it? Funny nonetheless! I've watched that guy's ads for years and followed comments about him on the forums. I'm surprised anyone ever buys from him. Some poor suckers are certainly getting ripped off!
Not CL and not pinball, but this popped up when I was searching pinball stuff.

Nothing surprises me anymore.
I think I'll list this on CL!
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:That's a vintage artisan wall.
I was going to say the exact same thing! You beat me to it.
No matter what the case, IMO , the dealer overpaid and I think it's a bit overpriced considering it hasn't even been looked at yet. I do agree though, the vintage wall will help the sale to the right audience.
Quoted from Swainer80:My Cyclone boy is at it again out here in Missouri. Read that description, if you have time

I'm dating myself, but I still have an original Coleco Pac-Man mini arcade I purchased in 1982 just after I graduated College. I think I paid about 50 bucks for it. My daughters grew up playing that mini arcade game!

1973 Williams "Fun Fest" Pinball Machine, 4 Player.
Wow, it even comes with keys!
Quoted from bdPinball:This was worth a laugh. Is this guy a newbie trying to get his first pin, or is he a CL cut-throat pin-SOB who mis-represents what/who he is.

Quoted from Mikala:I know this is ebarf, but deserves to be posted. Marx River Boat $999.00
ebay.com link » Very nice collectors shape. Museum quality Don't miss out on this rare piece
It certainly is ebarf! What is that guy smokin'?
Quoted from wayout440:About $2500.
IMHO, it's worth somewhere north of $2.5K if (I emphasize, "IF") the coin doors and mechs are the ONLY issue. I'll admit the photos could be better, but from what I see the game is not that bad.
Quoted from Catalyze:And for your enjoyment, I present to you the third in the Pinpot series.....Pinpot.....Bride of Pinpot...and........
yakima.craigslist.org link
jmountjoy111 is right. The price is reasonable, not blown out out like most CL and ePay prices.
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:Choo Choo has been advertising through EBay like this for years. The copied the GRC methodology for sales. Even their warehouse sales are outrageous.
I've purchased from Choo Choo. They're prices are negotiable and I got a fair deal. But it was interesting dealing with Dale nonetheless. Lesson learned was to be paitient and wait to purchase from a pinsider.
Quoted from lmsybiatb:columbus.craigslist.org link
GNR for $7000. Seller claims to have an offer of $5750 that he won't accept. All pics are four feet away with the glass on. Sign me up.
That guy is on some hallucinogenic drugs.
Quoted from Topher5000:My Raven was on route & has holes in the door where the padlock bracket was mounted. If I use those holes to mount a doorbell, am I a bad man?
Not if that doorbell is the ring for a bartender to bring another beverage!
Quoted from Camvr2013:'Waaaaiiiit a minute... please don't tell me this seller is asking 4k PER machine.'
*clicks into ad*
'Yep, figures. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?!'
harrisburg.craigslist.org link
He's got a habit to support.
Quoted from Puffdanny:The guy said he had 3 people interested in that Kiss.I told him they must be dumber than him.
I talked with the guy about the KISS too (I didn't use @puffdanny's tact) and asked about the display. The OP says the displays work fine and sent this pic.
I still have my $4500 too!
Quoted from gdonovan:newjersey.craigslist.org link

It's the same guy! Same phone number at least!
484 843 0569
Quoted from Azfalconfixer:sides with a veneer

Quoted from Mikala:I did not realize this thing was so small. How do they put this thing up on legs? If you watch the video, I know what your thinking, but don’t say it.

Quoted from dawgs:$3500
Will accept any decent offer but not stupid.

Interesting ad. Legit? Someone have bills to pay? Scam?
Quoted from Colsond3:WTF? Guy just responded to one of my emails. What the hell is all the stuff about Blue Jays under his sign off? Odd. Even if he does get back to me, I don’t think I’ll be picking that game up.
[quoted image]
Sounds like like Michael is a real flight hazard! What a piece of work!
Quoted from cutlerkeith:It is Ted Nugent so it is really valuable. Which one do you get?
denver.craigslist.org link

Quoted from DropTarget:Oh, there's just so much wrong with this ad......
southjersey.craigslist.org link[quoted image]
South Jersey, that says it all!
Actually, I lived in South Jersey five years and loved every minute of it. Lots of pins within a couple hour drive.
Quoted from vdojaq:I am not so sure about "MINT" or "restored" and especially not "as original as possible". Looks like some time was spent on it, but it's FAR from mint.
chicago.craigslist.org link
He says price is firm. Then says needs to free up space. Guess he wants it all.
Quoted from freeplay3:Not craigslist, but at an estate sale. My wife sent me this.
[quoted image]
Estate sales guys pad the price so they can pad their commission! And when it doesn’t sell they pay the owner pennies on the dollar and take it back to their shop and put it on craigslist again!
Quoted from GeekedOnPinball:It's harder to find crazy stuff these days with prices but this guy is selling a premium in the bay area but calling it a limited edition. I emailed him and said hey just heads up that's not a limited edition it's a premium and he emailed back with lots of exclamation points that they are all limited editions. lol Only $14k for a JP premium what a steal.
[quoted image]
Looks like he listened to you. He change the listing to “Jurassic Park Premium Edition Pinball - $14,995”
It’s still way overpriced!
I’ve write a nice email to the guy saying these are still available from distributors if you look hard enough and includes a list of distributors that showed a JJ premium in stock on their website (however, I didn’t call the distributors to confirm). The guy responded. He’s kind of a dick.
Quoted from PinJim:For fun, I offered the guy $1,000. Of course, he wrote back insulting me. It’s a collector piece, etc. I sent him some pinside data which seemed to piss him off more. At that, I deleted his emails and moved on with life. He’s not worth my time….
Pinside says is worth $1480-1720. I’m surprised it’s that high.
https://pinside.com/pinball/machine/millionaire
Quoted from PinJim:His displays show “adjust failure”, so I’m assuming the batteries puked on the CPU. Given that he doesn’t know a damn thing about pinball and claims to have owned it for 30 years, I’m sure it needs a full rebuild, likely some plastics, all boards rebuilt, etc. Given what they sell for rebuilt, $1,000 seems right or maybe high.
I knew he wasn’t going to bite on it and arguing is an awful negotiating tactic. I had zero hope of getting it, just seeing where his head is at. Typical crap I’ve dealt with before, the game is rare, highly collectible, it’s in great shape, blah blah blah.
I remember going to see a funhouse about 20 years ago and the guy said it was minty - his price reflected that. It was beat, including a cracked flipper. I offered him half of what he was asking which pissed him off. He escorted me out of the house. I actually thought he may start a fight….
Still reading? Probably not, but I’m venting, lol.
About the same time frame I want to see a Playmatic machine. I specifically asked the guy if the case had damage since they are so susceptible to that. Of course he says no. Get there and the bottom had large areas that had been poorly patched with bondo and painted. Called him out and he got pissed. To be fair, I was pissed too that he lied and wasted my time.
I thing I’ve learned over the years is there are a lot of liars in this world. Especially when you are buying stuff online.
I wrote this to the guy…
“Good morning,
I noticed your pinball ad. Given its current condition (needing rubbers) you might think of lowering the asking price to generate a quicker sale. Pinside says is worth $1480-1720.
https://pinside.com/pinball/machine/millionaire”
Here’s his response…
“I also have a 64 corvette coupe. If I went by book value I would loose my @@@$$ I don't go by the book values”
Quoted from Nikrox2:I didn't know where to post this one (no photos) - but picked up a game recently that had been in a basement for over 12 years - since the new owner bought the place. The game never worked he said. Even thought the previous home owner swore it did. I looked it over and we settled on a price.
I then started to take the game apart, removing the head, then the rear legs, to then tilt up on it's end - exposing the bottom of the game - that's when it he asked - "What's that switch?" hhmm
Once I got it home, besides turning on the power switch, I found two penny's stuck in the coin chute - keeping the game from starting correctly - after that it just needed a good old fashioned cleaning.
Love those!
Great find! Curious, what game?
