    Yeah, I am one of the "un-informed" that saw the Cinci CL ad last week for the 5k pile o' crap and decided to help him out. Knowing that he would never sell as a lot, I decided to shoot him an offer on Circus. Certainly not 600...I think I offered 200 knowing that ALL em restoration projects require replacing the transformer for a more efficient model.

    But alas, I failed to read his ad and he BLOCKED me. It has taken me a week to get over his shaming and be able to share my experience here

    Couldn't imagine separating that clown from his Circus anyway.

    1973 Bally "Circus", Same thing. This machine would power up, be playable and then after a while just die. I'm guessing it's the transformer and as it's the size of a car battery I imagine there's a much more efficient model out there that can be swapped that doesn't generate its own gravitational pull.

    Haha. No. Read the last paragraph in my post that is a direct copy from his CL ad. This mental giant thinks that the transformer is the issue with his pos Circus. He would be better off running the game off a wind turbine from all of his hot air bs descriptions.

    I contacted the seller and was ready to buy at a MUCH lower price but decided to pass since I found something better. Plus it was 8 hours one-way. Would have been ok if the glass was perfect but is is flaking. PF is dirty but looks nice.

    Yes there is animation. I know they won't take 300. I had offered a bit more than that. But there is nothing there to recreate a stencil.

    #4541 6 years ago

    The animation is not missing on the WI game (or the KC game most likely). It consists of a vertical bagatelle game with a marble kicked to the top at the end of each ball. The marble weaves through the pins and then falls through one of 3 slots at the bottom scoring either 10 or 100 points.

    Quoted from Puffdanny:

    Anyone near Rochester coming to the show next week? You pick up I'll buy and we can all smash it.

    Can I bring one from the Cincinnati area and have the mini bike parade run over it? Better yet, can we find a bunch of them and line them up and get some ramps and do an Evel Knievel jump over them ?

    #5584 5 years ago
    Quoted from Puffdanny:

    Somebody suggested we make a ramp and have the mini bike parade jump over it like Evel Knievel

    That was me on the EK jump. Save the destruction for Saturday so I can see it live rather than on tape delay on Wild World of Sports

    Plus it includes a min-porn collection on the side

    I assumed this one would be a woodrail.
    A soft woodrail at that.

    This is a Bally pin ball machine needs work but the main play area in good condition
    I reached out, so far, no response. Wonder why it doesn't work.[quoted image]

    Guys, this looks to be a pretty decent playfield that someone swapped. The crate looks like an original factory wooden shipping crate.

    Great deal even if it does not have all the underside mechs.

    "Orbit pinball machine in good condition and works. Needs a little maintenance, rubber bands, etc. and has a few minor cracks in the mirrors."

    $ 1500 and has cracked mirrors ???

    I'm out.

    Quoted from JethroP:

    My bad. It was Jack Koch in Cincinnati that I bought a pin from once. That was an experience is all I can say.

    You speak the truth, Jeff. I have bought many games and can't remember anything about the transaction but I will never forget my experience buying a Bally Flicker from Jack.

    He says he is tired of playing it. Guess he is getting frustrated trying to break those lifetime Kevlar rubbers.

    $ 5,000 Bally Flicker

    Seller: "Was given to me as a birthday present in 1975 and in 1985 it was covered with a tarp that I took off 4 years ago when my father passed away. Its in fantastic shape and I had Kinney go through it. The owner of Kinney gave me the price range its worth because I have the owners manual, blueprints and keys for it plus he said most Flickers were built in 1975 but this one is 1974. I have the machine up in mid Springfield so message to set up a showing."

    LOL! These two made me laugh!

    Forgot the most obvious...Pontiac Firebird.
