Looks like the owner took it off the bookcase next to the machine.
My guess is that it's a cabinet door from an RV, due to the handle. Cabinet doors are mostly MDF.
I saw the FunHouse ad too, and while I feel bad that the guy has "mounting medical bills", he's apparently mistaken concerning the value of his game. Sure, you could replace that hideous door, but you have to wonder if that's the only "mod" on this game.
I'm a player, not a buyer/seller. Curious what some of y'alls would consider a fair price if the game is solid.

Re: Wooden Funhouse coin door: I bet they bought it many years ago (and overpaid) at the local outfit that always removes coin doors and replaces them with cheap plastic panels, to discourage route competition. (And they got out of pinball a long time ago.) The wooden door would actually be an improvement! And then this seller heard about prices skyrocketing of late... voila! $6300!

Every now and then you go cruising around America looking for funny listings and you see a great buy pinball machine. Then you just sort of "sigh" and think about how you wish it was closer. Except Chicago CL...... they are way crazy up there.
