That's a member on here, Turboderf. he's a great guy and honest to deal with.

That's cool, just the odd expression on his face made me laugh! Looks like he's freaked out, someone told him he had to stand next to the pins.

I'm not photogenic either, usually takes a couple dozen to get something decent... Get a better one of him!

That's insane... The best original KISS I have ever seen (which looked factory new) was $7,000 and I thought that was a stretch.

    Cocaine at that price.

    Cocaine at that price.

You are actually not far off.
Mexico prices for a kg of Cocaine are around $14K.
    PNW is around $22K.
Lot of snorting going on in the hobby these days.
    Mostly to feed the habit.

Counter trafficking narcotics work through DoD, DoS, and DHS for pricing.
Interdiction work in Central America to prevent crossover to Mexico.
Virtually impossible based on multiple methods and volume, predominantly due to over 70% of the consumption is in the United States.

Last part was a pun joke.

The real interesting part is you can make a lot of money in this area, scary profits from the raw processed product.
    Not relevant for this posting.
Of course, "Dance with the devil, at your own risk, in the Twilight Zone."

Maybe there is a stash of reimport pinball machines left in South America that could capitalized instead?
Current market rise would warrant massive container buys again, and you could find the games, even if just for the boards.

    #3068 3 years ago

Why do people advertise a machine on craigslist and the reply is a E-mail and never return your response. After two sent E-mails I won't respond anymore. There is no machine I will beg for. I feel like sending a third reply saying take your machine turn it sideways and stick it up your ass. If it's sold take the add down or at least respond with four letters sold!

Or they list a machine and you are the first to respond with a "I will take it" then they have many more responses, decide they priced it to low and then want to turn it into a quasi EBay.

Sure! there's someone that will haul off your junk and pay you a lot of money!

    Bally Freedom $1200
    Great condition
    Very little use
    Playing field is nice
I have tape over two of the drops on the field cause ball gets stuck and doesn't pop out
    Easy fix

I guess that's one way to fix a problem.

It's not. The eBay one didn't look as good, the sellers grammar and spelling was horrible and he's in San Pedro Ca.
That one looks nice, but he didn't list a price and used the "R" word.
