wow that pins not too far off on price. If they'd drop to 300 it's be gone

Yeah I'm sure people have inquired and they must not want to budge. Pretty sure it started out at like 800-900 though.

I have been noticing that ads that don't sell for a while are being relisted at higher prices, haha. Anyone else see this in their area? I feel like the app I'm using my be messed up though.

Sorta like the Jurassic Park on Pinside. It is now $3.3k .The longer it stays, the higher the price gets.

Just needs some cleaning. And by the way, it has the wrong backglass.

Not really a laugh, since I'm tired of seeing it.

An overpriced EM with a single bad photo? Well, I never.

But like (I assume) a lot of you, I get emails from CL when machines are posted. You know how even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day? It feels like that's how often this thing gets listed.

I'm exaggerating, but this is from my gmail.

"This machine is in excellent condition..." And ONLY $2500 ! lmao... never mind that the cabinet is heavily faded.

And he used the "R" word in the description, because a production run of 17,000 makes it "rare".

Hey O-din, do you need a Capersville backglass?

Yeah, I'm getting tired of seeing that one, too. But he did drop the price from $750 to $749.

    Did a realtor write this?

Also an 8900 afm. Ill take two!

    #1215 4 years ago

Anyone else blatantly flag ads for machines that they grow tired of constantly seeing? I have a pinhead buddy who flags during his morning coffee every day. Lol

I'm not quite sure but doesn't everybody pay in full before pickup.

    #1221 4 years ago

$2,200 for an Amigo..come on, who wouldn't pay that. That's a steal. I'm going to make the drive. I also want to grab the Strato-Flite with the Pat Hand backglass. That makes the game one of a kind. Some people on CL are too much. We should hook them up with the guy on eBay that has the Michael Jackson machine listed for $100k.

So I guess I need to come in here and make a confession since this is one of my favorite pinside threads. On Friday afternoon I contacted a craigslist seller about a game that was 2 hours from me. Ad stated all the game needed was a power cord and a fuse (of course). I contacted him and we agreed upon a price and that I would take the game as is. I pick it up Saturday morning and bring it home. Upon checking inside the game the main fuse was sticking halfway out. Could it be that simple? I plug it in and turn the game on and the fuse holder starts smoking. Oh boy here we go. I install a new fuse holder and fuse, turn it on, nothing at all, no signs of life. I left it alone for a day or 2 and came back to it today. Decided to start simple, go through all the fuses on the boards. They all test good but one starts to fall apart as I put it back in so I replace it. Turn the power on and voila, everything works! Just needs some minor adjustments and a general shop job. Sometimes it is just a fuse! Or at least 2 fuses and a fuse holder

Oh and the power cord just had a bent ground plug, easy fix

    #1233 4 years ago

Yeah sometimes even the sun shines on a dog's ass.

    #1234 4 years ago

$3k for a Monte Carlo isn't a great price? But it has a functioning roulette wheel....

    #1235 4 years ago

$1650 will get you an EK on eBay, with a well-worn out playfield, a fair cabinet, displays that either don't work, or the pic was taken between flashes, 2 inoperative solenoids, and a rubber ring kit that's at least 2 years old. AND, it "has not been fully played in 15+ years" - like that's a good thing ?

    Oh the humanity !

I know, right? That is a bona fide steal if I ever saw one. I mean, who wouldn't pay that? It's a fair question. You would have to be crazy not to.

A Williams Flash just listed on Philly craigslist. They also have a High Speed, so I contacted the owner to see what they wanted for both machines (of course, no price in ad for either game, just "make offer"). He wants $2,500 for the Flash, which has a white backbox. When I told him it was supposed to be black, he said it was "custom painted".

Somebody had better grab this one quick before it goes to another lucky soul. The artwork package on Flash is phenomenal, and they only made a very limited run (19,000) of those machines.

I knew a guy whose wife drove off with her car after he drained the oil to change it, and before he refilled it. He did not call her a d*ckhead when he told the story though. Maybe that's the difference between your wife and your brother.

The old "just a blown fuse"...
