Quoted from JethroP:Sold for $8,500. The buyer is so happy he won the auction! Plans to recoup his purchase in quarters! LOL.
I suppose he also paid a buyers commission.

Because he overpaid for it...Yes
For only $305 delivered, you too could own some action figures stuck to a rough cut board.

A hitman who's into pinball. Nothing wrong with that

I think he's looking for a hitman. I guess it's fitting that he's 'Teed Off'
That begs the question, who would kill for a Teed Off, or better yet, who would be worth killing for a used Teed Off?
**Disclaimer - don't go killing people for a Teed Off**

A wife that doesn't support a pinball habit? A little harsh, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do

Yep. It's a crap game.
You should get at least one decent game per murder.
Quoted from undrdog:The date is wrong. He doesn’t say if it’s the LE. He omits that it only gets fair ratings.
That's 1980 Bally Rolling Stones, not 2011 Stern.
Not really rare either way though.

Only triple what they go for. LOL.
And for somebody claiming top dollar for a "perfect" machine, what's with the photo where it's completely buried under garbage? Good luck.

That Rolling Stones been for sale for a few months now. Started out at $20,000. I wrote him in the beginning and asked if that was typo, because $2,000 was more like it. He told me "I know what I got."
The sellers reply to me:
"Sorry but no error in price.
Turned down 9k last week
Thanks for the offer though."

Are You selling that Rolling Stones 7 posts up ?
Fuck no That was the guys reply to me asking about price.
Quoted from Jamesays:Are You selling that Rolling Stones 2 posts up ?
Good lord no lol

Yep that one would put the Gouge back in No Gouge Pinball I just reread Your post correctly this time
Oh ya...LOL
I sent the guy a reply asking if it was a typo and he said the above quoted, verbatim...nothing else. If someone actually offered him 9k for that and it didn't include him having to perform sex acts in addition to loading the machine, he should have snatched that and ran TF away. LOL

Reminds me of the beat up Haunted House presently being used daily in an arcade, with the MPU hard-wired into the Driver ("for reliability"), and a pop bumper cap from a Black Hole... for only $13,750. Is this a joke? (He can't even put on the correct bumper cap? It's 8 bucks from Marco.)
Can anyone explain to me the purpose of listing something for an unreasonably high price, therefore never sell, but still leave the listing up year after year?
I cannot.

There is a Bally Doctor Who on Ebay for sale $9,000 for two years now. I guess they hope someone will fall for it. Would post the picture but am technically challenged.

Some people have endless patience and all it takes is one idiot for them to cash in.
Quoted from PlanetExpress:Save $2 vs the new price at PBR, and you’ll save time from having to burn them for the “vintage” look.

Coming from Pittsburgh myself, this embarasses me.
Just throw them away, nobody is going want them.
You are about to enter the scammer zone. It’s so close I’m tempted to call them out. Then again, I already have a TZ….

Pretty sure that's Fun! Billiards. Thought they'd started watermarking their photos. Maybe it’s an old photo.

Well....I tried. He wants $4000 for a beat Space Mission because he found one for sale on a retailer with ridiculous prices. Love his LOL response.

There should be a sister thread on Pinside Market pricing (maybe there is and I haven't seen it). I have seen some ridiculous numbers being asked lately. There is no need to go as far as FB Marketplace or CL for a decent chuckle. There are plenty to be found here.

This guy is about $40K over the market price..
Wow! According to the Pinside machine section, it's "highly collectible" and averages $17-19K.

How can a machine that started production in 9/2022, and is still being produced, be "highly collectible"? Technically, I understand the literal meaning, it's in demand. I get it, but it all just seems a little nutty when the final number produced is yet to be determined.
EDIT: LOL... never mind! Marketing dept. at Stern is calling it "highly collectible", and it's been limited to a production of 500 units worldwide.

Like an actual taxi cab or 6 taxi pinball machines?
