I have no idea what it's worth so I started at 15k. Do I think it will sell for 15k? It would be nice to get something for my work, but no I probably won't get 15k. Hard to price pins in this market. Would be nice to at least break even and maybe get a little extra for all the hours I poured into it.

MaxIsDead my apologies, sincerely. I saw your ad here on pinside a while after Mr Tantrum responded that an HEP might go for that much, and I immediately felt embarrassed and thought, "aw shit, I hope they don't see what I posted." Your work really is beautiful, and I've heard it's very hard to break even on restorations, so I'm sure the $15K would be more than deserved. I hope you'll find the right buyer who will truly appreciate what you've done. Let's blame my snap judgement of your asking price on me not knowing what I'm talking about. That's backed up by the fact the first response to me made it clear that the price wouldn't be out of line for a very high end restoration.
