or most likely "nothing in create"
She has that listed on Facebook for $5k. I guess buying from the local classifieds carries a $500 premium. She was originally asking $6.5k so at least she's slowly getting realistic. I hope they aren't using that wood burning stove next to it...
Quoted from undrdog:There's vintage trash can collectors!? Extra charge for the nasty stuff still stuck to the bottom?
You jest but one of my favorite things I have in the shop is an orange Rubbermaid dome top trash can. One of those on trend until one day it wasn't colors, and not something many people would have thought or bothered to save. It's one of those mundane background objects that helps build a particular point-in-time aesthetic. It's even pinball related because it came from the liquidation auction of a route operator in Anchorage!

I talked her down to 4500 but that's still a bit pricey.

thats for sale also: $4500

You drove 44 hours for a trash can?
Just kidding...

Nah, was living up there at the time.

$10k by christmas, no low balls!
It sucks this thread is at a low in responses. It's really hard to laugh at prices this past year, maybe we need a More Craigslist Cries thread.

Just grab them from Facebook. A lot of pins just sitting due to idiots thinking they have gold for sale.

Craigslist is basically dead here. FB MP is where anything now sells. I have said it before. When I was moving last spring I listed a ton of stuff for sale. At first I put on CL and FB MP. Everything sold on FB MP. I don't sell or even look at CL anymore.
I am a dinosaur and I am not on facebook.
I still buy and sell on CL.
I do notice it is getting slower each time.....
OP: - gottlieb jumping jack pinball machine, working when stored now comes on but doesn't cycle comes with extremely hard to find original schematics *$best offer.*
Me:
From FB Marketplace
1976 Bally Old Chicago Pin Ball Machine. This unit is in perfect working condition. Well maintained unit, includes original brochures and electronic schematic information. 4 player unit. Glass, screen cabinet in Great Shape! This is a one of a kind machine, which sells from $2600-$4400 when posted! Unit breaks down for transportation. Cash only!
Pinside price is $800, so give or take a little Bump for Banning pricing, they are still a bit high.
One of a kind machine- after all, they only made 7,000 of them.
And it breaks down, too!
Who wants an Indiana Jones for $3k?
Gotta be legit, right? Photos show at least two different machines, but we'll ignore that. This particular IJ is so special it includes a playfield area for the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull movie, which wasn't released until fifteen years later. How prescient!
(Come on....at least one of you guys is gonna call....just in case....)

It looks like it comes with at least 2 different coin doors. What a deal!
Quoted from bigguybbr:For the low price of $14,000, you too can own a Gottlieb Rocky... The guy only paid 12k for it himself in 2014.

Looks like the price they paid in 2014 is legit (Paid $12,999 from GRC on Ebay). Found this:
I almost feel bad for them. Between 2013 and 2015 the highest price listed on pinside for one of these was $4500. The only one marked sold was for $2900. They probably paid $10,000 over market for this.
Quoted from Crumbalimb:LOL, Only needs a back glass and a playfield.

Only $700, and if you pay cash, they’ll throw in the termites for free

Who ever did it, it made my week. That Marta Hari is amazing.
Quoted from PlanetExpress:One image is enough when a machine is so obviously well cared for:
Obviously he is about to get around to dusting it. But getting out the Pledge is hard work. He's got to rest up for another couple years.

It’s super nice and cool when going

I guess if it was made in 1073 you won’t need to worry about electrical problems, so that’s a bonus!
Quoted from ThatOneDude:That's an old pinball machine...
[quoted image]
Hey, if the game has survived at all since 1073, got to be worth $200 at least. Who else could claim owning an over 1,000-year-old game? Actually, if I weren't over full of games, might call on it myself.
3k for a laser war that someone sanded the playfield art off of.
I guess it is ready for a hardtop?

I would bet this is a whitewood prototype. For me it’s really worth it’s price since it could be the first laser war ever made.
