25K in dimes or $2500
now on Ebarf from Jupiter Florida Flash Gordon $24,999.99
Total work of Art. This kind of restoration takes months to complete. Custom Created and I presented it to a famous Rock star who has decided to part with it. Awesome, beautifully restored Flash Gordon Pinball machine by Bally. The restoration list on this is way too long to itemize. Cabinet parts and under playfield parts have been meticulously powder coated in black. Custom painted apron, custom laser cut side rails with powder coat. This is a super nice game! Game is fully functional. Rare, one of a kind, the playfield is new. The cabinet is New paint with gloss automotive clear coat. Feel free to email or reach me for any questions by 908eight723999. If you don't see your dream game in my auctions just let me know. Many more games nearing full restoration. Please review the HD pictures to see the level of detail put into this game.
This game is very hard to find in this condition.
Quoted from bob_e:Is there a MARKETPLACE MADNESS forum?
that would take self awareness
Quoted from bob_e:I presented it to a famous Rock star who has decided to part with it.
So... He shows the game to the famous rock star, famous rock star says "no thanks" and that's a selling point?
IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION, BUT NEEDS A FEW LIGHT BULBS REPLACED
I HAVE OWNED FOR 30 YEARS AND IT HAS BEEN STORED IN A WAREHOUSE THE LAST 20 YEARS WRAPPED IN FURNITURE BLANKETS
Stored in a warehouse the last 20 years and it's in good working condition? I would bet it doesn't play correctly and the rubbers are toast....been sitting 20 years!

Price isn’t horrible, especially if it works. $1000 in this market isn’t insane asking price. Looks to be in nice shape. I have seen worse asking way more.

The laugh wasn't about the price. It was described as "good working condition." No way an EM sat for 20 years, never played, and it's in "good working condition."

OK....the laugh's on me. I stand corrected. I bought the machine which sat in that guy's warehouse for 20 years...described as good working condition. Brought it home, put it together, and it plays perfectly. Never had that happen before! Then again, look at the condition of the wiring....pristine!

Its a fair observation.
I purchased two pins, Gottlieb Ship Ahoy and Lucky Hand that were utterly like new. Genuine home owned by a real estate agent on Long Island and they looked like they were just out of the box and STILL have steppers that were gunked up and a few other issues.

That just makes no sense to me.
The thing is designed to be bright and flashy and eye catching. So lets takes pics of it turned off.
How else can sellers say UNTESTED? That goes for Facebook, too. You don't bring a game home and not plug it in.
"Oh I bought that game dragged it out to my garage, and you know I thought... I'm not even going to plug this in, I'll just sell it for cheap."
Quoted from embryonjohn:Guy’s laying it on a little heavy, no?
Yeah, that was over the top! I like the part "bring someone to carry into your truck." He probably doesn't know his single most favorite possession comes apart for easy loading, so you don't need a truck.

How much is he asking?

Hate to see his description of his dog taking a crap, bet that would be just eloquente.
Says he would sell it to a museum, gallery, or good private home. I wonder if he would consider selling to a bad private home?
That doesn't make me laugh. Makes me go...oh, what an idiot. Won't even include the correct picture, and he knows it.

Now it’s for sale on Pinside.
A 17k used Guns n Roses LE...
You have to wonder what people are thinking sometimes. You can still get this brand new for way less

Yeah, but the new one wouldn't have the seasoned bubbling playfield.

Because they were too lazy to see the 46+ other ads for pinballs for sale??? SMFH.
That ad reads like it was written for 3 year olds.
This is a big game!
It is red and blue!
There is a man on the game!
Don't look too close around the man!
There's a Flying Carpet for sale in Wylie Texas.
The funny part is he's using Pinside photos! Cropped them closely, but you can still see the Pinside badge!
Quoted from GeekedOnPinball:$7000 for a munsters pro…HUO! Lol[quoted image]
The price is indeed a little silly... but how do you buy one of these things brand new and only play it 40 times? Or expect us to believe you only played it 40 times.
Just saw a post on offer up. They said the machine is "reconditioned / certified" ! Certified?
I certify that all my pinball machines are pinball machines…
