Putting out feelers for a possible trades. I have a new GNR CE that I'm looking to trade. My GNR still has the plastic protectors over the decals and has less than 30 plays. The game is upgraded with the following mods: Flipper Toppers (The mod couple), New Titan flipper rubbers, back box LED mod (Lermods), Noise filter for topper speaker, and a custom illuminated coin door shadow box with the CE number (The mod couple). Learn something every day! I never heard of "reborn baby dolls" before, where I guess they are for some a hobby (like pinball collecting is a hobby) and sell for anywhere from very inexpensive to prices approaching the Mandalorian. Well.... they take up less space and the shipping cost is lower. LOL.
Having a Bally Hi Deal, I have often thought of adding a Hang Glider to have both of them. I have looked at 3 of them in the last 5 years that were priced well. This one not so much.

It’s still way overpriced! 
I’ve write a nice email to the guy saying these are still available from distributors if you look hard enough and includes a list of distributors that showed a JJ premium in stock on their website (however, I didn’t call the distributors to confirm). The guy responded. He’s kind of a dick.

This is why I feel like we're transitioning into a market maturity of pinball. Bad actors have entered and started taking advantage of peoples ignorance. I know a few people do it around here for jokes, but there are actual people right now doing this knowing full well that the buyer could find it for literally half the price from a retailer with a warranty. I was recently talking to a colleague and he told me what his BIL paid for a NIB Stern Pro and I honestly thought he must have misunderstood. Nope. This dumbo paid close to double what he could've had delivered to his door from a distributor. Not here to judge but I don't think I could sleep well at night doing that.

Yeah, This guy is named John from Pinballpickers.com. He is a known flipper and all around creepy dude. He bought my Firepower with drop target addition for $1,800 and then turned around claimed it was an original prototype and HUO (i bought it from an arcade and told him) and listed it for like $8,000. He normally stays off Craigslist because he gets blown up/trolled by the local pinball community, but you should look him up on e-bay... Crazy prices.

It truly is a rarer version Mata Hari. Because it has the writing on the knife. Not $2200 rarer, but it is rarer. Dam now I hungry for a nice thick T-bone medium rare.
