That is an ad from fb market place, my apologies if this thread is not about pricing of machines in our area.
Craigslist is kind of dying around here and FB market place is where it is at now for selling items locally.

"bit rot" is a thing. The eproms do wear out with age, strangely enough. But even so, burning a new one is only a couple of bucks. And you could probably ust burn the data back onto the same chip and it would last 40 more years.
