Big fan of this Title but reality is..reality.
This is why people hate ignorant, greedy flippers.

I know the guy, he buys to flip or trades for it, have dealt with him a few times

When I am paying $5k for an old game, authentic scratched glass is important.

Well while you're at it when I'm buying a game with a new play field I make sure it has a few touch ups on it as well

No, he said he "replaced" the playfield. He didn't say anything about it being replaced with a new playfield! It's all about being able to read and write "Craiglist Ad English".
I wonder what he means by it being "the real deal". Does he also have a zizzle version?
if he know those games so well then he knows the price that he is asking is ridiculous so he is not being serious so don't respond to him
Quoted from JethroP:If it bothers you go ahead and replace the scratched glass for $25. I wonder where he buys glass?
Not sure but I sure would like to know
Deal of the day on ebay, Used Stranger Things Pro $10,417

It's an ORIGINAL Captain Fantastic. As opposed to the knock-off Captain Fantastics? Also, since he replaced the playfield, technically, it is no longer "original".

Is it me or is half the PF GI out in each game? The cab on Taxi looks great! Should sell quick.
Quoted from Colsond3:The cab on Taxi looks great! Should sell quick.
Glad he told me the name of the game. With all that missing paint (great condition), I couldn't tell what it was.
At lease he didn't advertise it as HUO.

Super storm Sandy survivor.
Could have been HUO.

It’s like buying a classic car. I always look for scratches on the windshield. Shows that the car is authentic And $25 for a standard sheet of glass instead of tempered glass. What an idiot.

Looks like someone started sanding down that Taxi cabinet and just decided to quit. What a joke.
Saw this on Offerup. Whoever put new cabinet art on it didn’t even bother to remove the carriage bolts in the front or even bothered to remove the side rails. They just wrapped it with them still screwed on.

Advertised as 'fully restored' ?
Wow, that's a new one!
Quoted from Markharris2000:How does one lose that amount of cabinet paint?
They have been stored outside for over a year

Hey, give me $1150 for one of the most highly sought after pinball machines with a dirty ass playfield with ball trails. It has been TOTALLY reconditioned and adjusted by one of the best that $10/hr can buy. Comes with new rubbers, Mangum size. Body and backglass have both been touched up, so you know this is a steal at $1150. RARE!

If you look at the archived classifieds here they've been ranging in the 6500 to 7500 range...so as far as CL with new plastics and LEDs, a fair price.
I like that AF-Tor Wico sitting next to it. Seller has a couple of rare games.
yep right now between facebook, pinside and craigs list there are at least 3 if not four hollywood heat machines for sale at half the price
Quoted from the9gman:yep right now between facebook, pinside and craigs list there are at least 3 if not four hollywood heat machines for sale at half the price
Which still amazes me. I guess everything has gone up but I have had 3 (still have one) and the most I paid was $200. Then again most everything I sold the past few years has doubled or tripled in price.

Yep, paid 4k mine as a non booting project with no marquee. Lotta people ask me to sell it but wont.
Low production for a system 11 and unique feature that hasn't been done since. They seem to stay in collections.

My favorite parts are the "patent pending breathing regimen" and the complementary "Shasta brand soda (the Coke products are for me)".

Damn that was funny! I'd like to meet Lori, she sounds like a whack job.
The pinball lessons ad dates back to almost 8 years ago. Someone just pulled it out again for giggles.
