I've had over 90 emails but it's still for sale because all 90 people passed......
Quoted from shimmydisc:Someone has to inquire about it...
So I got a response - he sent me one photo in response to my request for pictures - graphic male porno. It was pinball themed though, FWIW.

4 Ball Multiball, FTW.

That's just wrong

You may have permanently ruined multiball play for me!
I really hate scammers. Sadly they are in every hobby. I’d love to know the “fake to real” ad ratio for Craigslist and other online ad services.
I knew a few guys in the guitar trade that were ex Secret Service and Insurance Fraud Investigators before retiring. They used to run down every guitar scammer that you threw their way. More than a few ended up getting dragged through court on charges.
They were great for the hobby.
Quoted from Tomass:I have seen this thing change price quite a few times. At one point it was 4k I believe. He kept raising the price making comments about low-ballers. I think he got pissed at offers and just kept raising it to make a point but now it sits at 10k.

At least he is telling the truth in the second part when he says:
“You will not find another machine with all of the complete parts, manuals and keys anywhere in the USA for this price.”
Yes, and it's "a genuine 1977 Evel Kneivel upright pinball".
Good that it's genuine, because there are so many cheap forgeries floating around...
Quoted from tslayer71:Wow. Nice playfield..
And it even comes with an alarm switch on the coin door.
Quoted from JustEverett:Only about 3x what it's worth...where do people come up with these asking prices? I sent them an offer for $1,500 [quoted image]
This just dropped to $2K. I guess the guy got realized he was over the moon high in price.
Quoted from RyanStl:This just dropped to $2K. I guess the guy got realized he was over the moon high in price.
They responded to my email telling them they were way off on the price and asked if I'd be interested at $2K. I just responded 'no'.

And don't forget; it's an upright, too!

wow they list that as excellent condition.....I'd hate to see what their description of poor condition was.....probably a pin in the back yard with a tree growing thru it

I doubt that yours is the rare "chrome edition"...

For 10k, I can make it happen.

Seller said he had it chromed... exactly what IDK. but not $7,500 worth of chrome
Quoted from bob_e:Seller said he had it chromed... exactly what IDK. but not $7,500 worth of chrome
Someone should probably break it to the seller that adding aftermarket mods does very little to raise the retail price of a machine. In some cases, it actually reduces it if the mod is non-reversible. In any case, he's at least 3x too high...
Quoted from caseydanger:Anybody looking for that rare pin, Flesh Tales?
Pretty sure that was a Porno I saw once.
Quoted from caseydanger:Anybody looking for that rare pin, Flesh Tales? Now's your chance!
Apparently, Flesh Tales is available all over the country. I think I saw the same ad on the Chicago CL today. Scam alert for sure.

You missed out. It was on Craigslist last night for $9,500. He also had a Firepower for $7,500.

I owned a Flipper Cowboy in the 1970 timeframe. It was OK. The playfield was pretty standard if I remember correctly, but the main appeal was the backglass gimmick, which allowed the cowboy to shoot a target which spun around. It was like a little animatronic diarama. A gimmick to be sure, but this was from the 60s!!
I do not understand why people get upset over this stuff. First of all, there are scammers in every hobby or business . Secondly, a machine of any title could greatly vary in price based on condition alone. A players condition example of High Speed could sell for 500 if it is not working, has a lot of wear on it, is missing parts, has acid or water damage, etc. Another example of the machine could be worth $3000 because it has just been shopped and upgraded with LED lights (which the buyer is looking for), and it is in extremely nice condition with no wear at all. Another example could be brand new and in the sealed original box. This obviously would be extremely rare, however it does happen. This example could sell for $7500, because there is a collector out there that favors the machine, and views this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a brand new High Speed machine(which turns out to be his/hers favorite game). A real shop job and rubber/LED replacement could cost up to $1500 to have done by a professional. That amount of money has different value to a person depending on many factors. Also, someone may be on the fence regarding if they actually want to sell the machine, so they make the price higher in order to justify getting rid of the game. There is no right or wrong, and stating that a specific title is worth a set amount without giving any value to the condition, when it was shopped, how many mods it has, how rare it is, etc makes absolutely no sense.
Unfortunately, most of the people complaining about what people sell their games for are the people that turn around and do the same thing themselves. Most of the time, they can do their own repairs, and place very little value on the time that it takes to properly shop a machine since they have all of the time in the world to shop the machine themselves . These are the people that low ball you when you are selling a game, and then turn around and attempt to sell their games at full retail each and every time they sell a machine.
Of coarse there are extreme situations that make zero sense, and their are times in which the seller is clearly trying to take advantage of a buyers lack of knowledge or experience in buying or selling pinball machines .
If you do not like the price of something, then just don't buy it, and just stop bitching about it ...

This isn’t really the price police thread, it’s the laughs. Ridiculous listings or total odd-ball postings that are so off the wall they deserve to be shared.
We all like to peruse Craigslist and Facebook for deals and when those are in short supply, why not discuss the 10k zizzle retro-fitted with LEDs?
Quoted from JustEverett:Every day there is another one...

Have you seen the $7,000 one on market place? It's better then new from factory condition! I don't know how better then NEW is possible but it is!!
Quoted from brobra:[quoted image]
This one still baffles me. I thought surely it had to be a scammer, but now I'm not sure. Did some guy just figure out he had something worth a lot more than his original asking price and go nuts?

WUT?
sharks (resized).pngHere we go again: Two Zizzle Pirates going for outrageous prices. I think we all need to start picking these machines up and sell them on eBay to buy real machines.

Its funny. Even the guy that bought his for $40 says was curious about these Zizzles, and he'll play it for a quick laugh and then take the legs off and store it...

If you don't like forum threads just move on from that thread. No need to leave a story bitching at everyone else for bitching lol

Of course, if you don't like threads with people bitching about other people bitching about bitching in threads...just ignore them...no reason to bitch about it.

I’m frankly tired of everyone bitching. There’s no need it, I’m contacting a moderator.
Sincerely,
Karen
Ha ha, just kidding. Bitch away!
