Sold for $1,375....... That’s crazy! Over 70 bidders. I guess there are a lot of people out there that don’t know how to research something before they buy it.

He speaks English. Proofreading and punctuation, not so much.

    #7309 1 year ago

He says he is tired of playing it. Guess he is getting frustrated trying to break those lifetime Kevlar rubbers.

Can someone buy this game, pretty please? It's been listed since the date on the picture. And it's been relisted. It's actually listed three different places in the Nebraska area to maximize exposure. It gets bumped/updated every 24 hours like clockwork in all three locations.

    Please??!!??!! (resized).png

Lol. I have a VERY RARE Zizzle POTC stored in my attic for over 12 years. I need to find the for legs(I think the wife threw them out during a spring cleaning). Straight on eBay if I can only find the legs.

    How about...

"Ultra-rare plastic POTC pinball machine, one of only a few made without legs. Also, no fussy coin mechanisms to mess with. Much less costly to ship than those needlessly heavy wooden machines. $2499."

Heck, without the legs set it on a wooden box, call it a Coffee table then advertise as EXTREMELY RARE.

    #7317 1 year ago

Only about 3x what it's worth...where do people come up with these asking prices? I sent them an offer for $1,500

Actually, I imagine at least some of the bidders know what they are bidding on. The amazing thing to me is that no one in the pinball industry sees the obvious market opportunity here. Zizzle's biggest failing might have been coming out too close to the 2008 recession. Apparently in 2020, you can sell a $150 wholesale pinball machine for a 10x margin. Seems like someone should design a $350 wholesale unit to retail for $699, and clean up the "budget" end of pinball buyers that have to chose between $800+ Zizzles, $500 EM machines, or $3000+ SS pins. Something NIB for $500-$999, appears to have a market.

    #7320 1 year ago

Then we'd have ten new discussions here about how the playfields all dimple because the particle board is too soft, the flippers aren’t strong enough or are misaligned, the pops all trigger together. Oh, the heartache of saving $8,000! Alas!

    $ 5,000 Bally Flicker

    Screenshot (1) (resized).png

Seller: "Was given to me as a birthday present in 1975 and in 1985 it was covered with a tarp that I took off 4 years ago when my father passed away. Its in fantastic shape and I had Kinney go through it. The owner of Kinney gave me the price range its worth because I have the owners manual, blueprints and keys for it plus he said most Flickers were built in 1975 but this one is 1974. I have the machine up in mid Springfield so message to set up a showing."

That's a good point. I could see a 3/4 or 4/5 machine that uses mostly stock components doing ok at sub $1k. If you ship them with a full playfield protector, you can use a cheaper plywood and forgo clearcoat altogether.

Good thing he has the blueprints. In case an architect comes over to service the machine.

Quick! Inserts are lifting, better get there before they lift all the way out of the game!

    Description

This is an original Gottlieb pinball machine that was cleverly converted into a coffee table, the pinball components are circa 1960 in age.

    #7339 1 year ago

must have been extremely rare and ahead of their time for someone using ramps on a 1960 machine. not to mention the missing pop bumper cap

    #7340 1 year ago

Yeah, Operation: Thunder is from 1992! Late Mid-century, I guess!

Ugly, besides. About the last pf I'd use for this.

No big loss though, I had one for a while, and I bet it plays almost as well as a coffee table. /s

    I'm going in...here's my email:

Hi, I'm really interested in the Big Bang Bar pinball machine you have listed. Can you please send me a few more photos? Are you around tomorrow if I would like to come and have a look after I see the additional photos?

    Thank-you

I came to this thread to see if this pin was listed. OMG, what the hell. I would like to have this theme, but not at that price.

    #7350 1 year ago

Anyone following this debacle (I think likely a scam)? Guy originally posted the game at $700. I thought it seemed like a scam, but emailed anyway. I decided to browse the pinside pics on the game and it's definitely a cropped photo from pinside.
