"With a low investment, you can get a new playfield and re-spray the exterior and this would be looking sweet. New plastics would be great as well"
So, in other words "all it needs is a full restore".
And comes with the original rubber kit (only 40 plus years old). Wonder how much that adds to the value of the game?
WOW!!!! And to think. For that price you could get a Deadpool pro, a JP2 Pro... A ghostbusters prem perhaps... Don't get me wrong I think Evel Knievel is a very good SS shooter. But, no way in hell I'd ever pay that price. Not a fan of the theme. When I get my new house in 3-4 years, I'd like me either an Evel or an Harlem Globetrotters. But, no way at that price. These people must think ohhh pinball. Must be expensive.
What is sad... Someone might buy it for that price. I hope not.
Edit...
Hold on guys. He'll ship this for FREE!!!!!!
And if you're local and can pickup he'll take 500 dollars off... So he seems pretty reasonable to me.

The factory must have found a pile of parts 10 years later and then finally put it together.

Well there is the lower price negotiating tactic! Hard to find parts

I found them here...but I deleted the company logo because I didn't want to have them flooded with orders.

I think, for the rest of my life, I will always refer to them as clickers and loopers. I can't wait to see the look on people's faces when use that term.

I'd like you to call Steve Young to order some loopers and clicker parts, record the conversation, and provide us all the audio clip. I can't wait to hear the conversation! - I'm already ROTFLMAO.

I learneded something new today....
So I jump ship in Hong Kong and I make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas ...

I used to deal with Steve long ago, before internet made finding parts easy. He would scream at you if you didn't have an actual part number. If you called him for some clicker parts, you would hear his blood pressure rise.

Quoted from cconway84:Arcade in Gatlinburg with a DE Star Wars for $5800, twilight for $9800 and very rough DE JP for 4k.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I'm pretty sure that is the Red Rocket arcade... the DE Star Wars was in really good condition, but sort of out in the open in east Tenn humidity for an unknown amount of time.... don't know if the pins at the entrance got direct sunlight on them or not. Anywho... while in good visual condition when I've seen it last summer, I'd don't see $5800 in it.
Funny for a couple reasons, pricey for what it is and it is NOT Pirates of the Caribbean!

Playfield looks.. wrong. Overlay maybe? Font is not correct.

I think it is overlay- look at the arrow on the left side and bonus unit.
Congo that “Works 100%”. Other than that you’ll just have to guess what it looks like and the price. Was nice enough to include a pic of the original flyer
