That is former pinsider radrog and he had 10 machines even made threads about how he had 10 of the best machines.I remember his pictures because I was going to go there and play and after a few more post by him I changed my mind.

A fully functioning machine with the Molex connectors unplugged. That's pretty cool.

    #6015 5 years ago

It WAS functioning or IS functioning. I’m confused!

    #6016 5 years ago

    exactly

    #6017 5 years ago
    Quoted from ToucanF16:

It WAS functioning or IS functioning. I’m confused!

They were all functioning at one time so a true statement.

    #6018 5 years ago
    Quoted from ToucanF16:

It WAS functioning or IS functioning. I’m confused!

Also, he states "all original." So in if it was original, then it is functioning....or did it leave the factory not working? Assuming it is all original, and functioning with the molex connectors disconnected, then we have an engineering marvel! I'm confused.

    #6019 5 years ago

I may have to go see it in person

    #6020 5 years ago

I’ve actually showed up to quite a few houses where they said nonworking and I noticed connectors off. In the old days, I would reconnect them and show them that it worked. But then they would try to up the price. These days, that’s a load and go situation.

Yup, same thing when buying cars. Never offer an opinion as to the problem either.

    #6022 5 years ago

I don't want the game, I'd just go out of curiosity.

Dude overpaid for it... (and I say that as a happy GB Premium owner and fan).

Yeah dude was very strange and I got the impression he came into a large sum of money and promptly blew it all on shiny things then got upset that he couldn’t continue to spend at that level once it was all gone and also because he wasn’t getting the respect he (felt he) deserved on Pinside...

I was going to buy his MB but communications were so erratic and bizarre that I passed and am now extremely glad I will be getting a much cheaper and better MBr LE instead.

Also, I suspect some of his games have been stored in an unheated garage with some temperature swings due to rotating in and out of house (though he probably stopped doing that once his interest in pinball peaked and maybe they have been sitting in that lineup since he quit Pinside?).

WTF? Guy just responded to one of my emails. What the hell is all the stuff about Blue Jays under his sign off? Odd. Even if he does get back to me, I don’t think I’ll be picking that game up.

This is my favorite. This guy took a perfectly nice Alien Star (which are rare enough as it is) and rethemed it based on his webcomic. He listed it months ago for something like $1,200, then gradually lowered the price to $700. It sat there for months and no one bought it. So he took down the listing and relisted it at $1,375, which is about $400 more than most people would spend on a nice Alien Star. Frankly, I admire his audacity.

When I see people re-theme a game that is less then 2000 made, a little piece of me dies. especially when it's a game I'm looking for.

I want to make an offer on the Elvis pinball. Not sure how much. Doesn't look like it has any rust. I'm a diehard Elvis collector. First time I've ever seen one of his balls come up for sale. Maybe $8000 and see what he says? Wonder if he'll include shipping?
