It's definitely good for some things, and not for others. I've bought some really fantastic pinball deals on letgo, but I'd never use it to sell one.

    I’ll second this.

Someone should offer $50k on that before the bidding war gets out of hand.

    #5015 6 years ago

Maybe he traveled time and that's the future price

I don't recall, but I'm pretty sure I paid a bit less than that for mine.

    #5017 6 years ago

$7500 Not even with a letter saying it was the game on "That 70's Show"

    #5018 6 years ago

It does work and operate kind but it does need some cleaning.

    Oh. And a plunger.

There was a 70's Williams that was for sale in New England someone wanted "stupid money" that was a train wreck but complete... and you could clearly see plunger was missing. Pin looked like it had been through the war.

    Speaking of which...

I looked at this several months ago and offered the guy $50 after inspection.

The playfield looked like it had been underwater, it reeked of mice and rot bad and when I opened up the coin door could clearly see where wiring had been cut up and several parts were missing.

If I needed a pf glass or backglass (which is only fair) I might have met his counter offer of $100.. as it was did not see wasting my time further.

You’re banned from CL for 12 months after the Pharoah score.

Hot Line is a fun game, right near the top of the Pinside fun for the money rankings. Set one up this past winter. You spell out HOTLINE, letter by letter, on a dot matrix of rollovers.

Letgo is becoming a waste of time app in my mind. I messaged him to buy it for my daughter and offered $50, which is reasonable. So he thinks buying a game for my daughter is a lie, or the douchiest comment ever? What an ass, so I responded.

Around here nothing but crackheads and tweakers, I don't even bother with Letgo any longer. Some guys have patience to deal with the random decent person on there.. I don't.

    #5029 6 years ago

I can't say I've had much luck with letgo either. I either get no response or a weird response, so my success rate has been a giant goose egg so far.

I also tried listing an item once, but all I got was bot spam.

I had 2 or 3 pins listed at one time on Letgo, the responses I received made CL denizens look lucid and reasonable in comparison.

When the app first came out, I was able to grab a Pharaoh for a decent price. Thought the app was great that night. I sold one game through there, and the guy tried lowballing me when he showed up.

I've sent messages about a ton of games I seen on there over the last year or so, and it just seems that people never respond. Then why even bother listing it? It definitely seems like there's a lot more flaky people on there than CL, at least those people respond usually.

That is a deal for that game that you will only see once in a lifetime.

I got one off Letgo for a very, very good price last year, and I thought that was great. $50 is just ridiculous. How's the backglass?

    #5038 6 years ago

Backglass was great, except for a 6x6” chunk missing in the top left corner. I’m going to get this alternate version off eBay.

You know I bet you could start some kind of "reality" show where you confront people with the crazy prices and shit.

    #5043 6 years ago

Smiled when I came across this off Pinside while looking at old video game cabinets.

Could this be the inspiration for the "MAME in a whiskey barrel" ads that plague the IN, Mich, Ohio, & IL. Craigslists?

Actually this looks way cooler than those MAMEs do (but I still wouldn't want one of these either).

I used it after just reading this page and found a cocktail arcade game for $50.00 and I'm picking it up tonight! score! thanks guys.
