I have a 1987 Monte Carlo by Gottlieb that I purchased used 20 years ago and have played it on & off over the years. About 5 years ago the roulette wheel stopped working. I've never had to work on it and have no electronic expertise and can find no one in my area to work on it.

The last 2 days I've been able to replace the rubber bands and the lamps accessible from the top of the play field. I'd like to get the roulette wheel working and change the lamps accessible on the underside of the play field. when I pull up the play field I cannot figure out how to stabilize the field so I can attempt to work on it? Any idea what to look for to get the wheel spinning again and how to go about changing the lamps?
