I read from the forum that the problem with the scoop draining the ball from
the middle of the flippers is probably due to a divot in the scoop.
I purchased a new scoop and I am in the middle of installing it back. However,
for some reason I cannot get the coil to be tightly seated between the metal
brackets inside the assembly. This is due to the coil tubing that cannot go
inside the metal bracket above the coil and on the other hand the tubing
has a sleeve below the coil, so it can protrude the metal bracket below
only to small extent. Please have a look at the picture (I am pressing there
the metal bracket below to be as tightly to the coil as possible - but then
there is space above the coil to the metal bracket).
I believe this is the reason that the scoop has now lost its power and the
ball pops back from the scoop quite slowly in comparison to what is was
before I started to exchange the bracket.
I did notice that with the new scoop the ball again drained in the middle,
but I guess it is best to start by fixing the proper installation of the coil.
Any advice to give here? Thanks!
