What if the LE is the only version with extended code?

Quoted from Bublehead:

I think leg protectors may be solution looking for a problem. If you keep yer leg bolts tight, I dont see a need for them, but then I keep my leg bolts tight and dont take the legs on and off. If yer routing machines and the legs are going on and off all the time, get some felt cut to shape and poke a few holes in it... cheap as it gets and what I would use. But my home machines are player machines... the cabinets have war woulds and trench foot (rusted) levelers. No need to keep my cabinets “pristine”. The new MBrLE however, my first real NIB purchase, may get the full treatment as an investment protection measure... then again, it might come with them... right CGC? And cliffies, and... and... (Well I can dream can’t I?)

CGC ships them with metal leg protectors installed into the cab. Taking the legs on and off does no damage.

Was yours a CGC build? My MMr had no coin mechs and was a Stern build.

Quoted from Only_Pinball:

CGC built MM's have coin mechs. They also have the melamine cabs.

What's a melamine cab look like?

Quoted from Whysnow:

Sorry, ihave not paid much attention to remakes lately.
Are they really not plywood cabinents like all other machines in current era?

Plywood all around including the bottom, no MDF. Also, apparently melamine on the cab inside.

Quoted from delt31:

that large display looks so good in this game. Seems less pixelated than AFM?

I believe it is an LCD emulating a DMD. The whole idea is to look old-school pixelated I would think. It does look good. Great job CGC!

Quoted from Whysnow:

Does the game come w a manual?

MMR did.

Quoted from PtownPin:

I was told today that the recent delays are due to CGC having play field issues? Not exactly sure what that means, but its their latest excuse ...my mid 500 matching LE is delayed another couple weeks (or so I'm told)

Does CGC make or source playfields? Just wondering if that affects other manufacturers as well...

Quoted from Ricochet:

It’s cleaely a competitor to MB.

If true, it's interesting that George Gomez (who suggested an old school simpler WPC type ruleset for Munsters), who designed MB, is competing against himself for sales.
