Quoted from Deez:Anyone get a CE yet? I'd like to see some pics.
I'm picking ours up early next week. If there aren't any pictures posted by then I'll be sure to post a bunch.

Our MBr CE hasn't arrived to the distributor yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it'll arrive today and I'll pick it up tonight.
Here are pictures of our MBr CE. I just picked it up from Cointaker earlier this evening. Five hour round trip after work??? Totally worth it!!!
There are a ton more pictures here...

So far, so good. Plays really, really good IMO.

No air balls or clunky feeling.
I have made zero adjustments to the way it came out of the box. Hopefully there are others that will have such a positive experience.
I agree. That's been my experience with ours too.
Does anybody have information on if and when the color upgrade may be available for the CE version? I couldn't come up with anything via Google.
BTW, about 50 or so games in on our CE and it plays like a dream! Only thing I may do is narrow the outlanes. They seem like gaping caverns some games. LOL.
Quoted from Higloss67:I had the same problem. I have to push up on the backglass very hard to remove and put it back. Now that I know it is not just mine, I will turn in a ticket also.
Ours is like this a bit too. It's not impossible or anything but I do have to push up harder than other games. It doesn't bug me enough to put in a ticket TBH.
I'm so glad I don't do "competitive" pinball. I just like to flip for fun and watch others do the same.
Have played our MBr over a hundred times this past week and have had a smile on my face the whole time(except when the drains open up).
Looked at our backglass and to me it seems the easiest fix for CGC would be to cut the wood surrounding the upper slot just a hair more. Reforming the vacuform seems like a waste. If it really bugged me I'd probably run a rasp at an angle on the wood where it's hitting... but it's not bugging me so I'm just going to play.
Just had an incredible game for me!
Stock settings except I closed the inlanes and have free balls set for 60m, 120m and 180m. I know some of you can probably get this score on your first ball with wide open lanes only using one flipper since MB is so "easy"... but it felt like I won a small world war using a dull butter knife! LOL.

According to Cointaker and Gameroom Guys... this upcoming week it'll be available. And I'm buying it as soon as it shows instock!!!
JFYI, both of the above companies were told this via CGC. I wrote CGC too but didn't hear back. Keeping my fingers crossed...
Quoted from Lermods:Crap, and I thought I had a good game. That's a great score. My game plays really well.
[quoted image][quoted image]
That's a great score IMO. My next highest score is ~250m. Like I said, breakout!
Glad yours is playing well too... I can't say enough good things about our game!
Just added mirror blades and a $10 plasma thingy to our MBr CE.
Here are a couple videos showing some gameplay, lighting in a very dimly lit room, and the plasma thingy doing it's thingy.

Quoted from Lermods:If you are running it off the GI, there’s a good chance it won’t last long as the disc is a 3v unit and the gi is 5/6v
Using a 3.3v regulator...

And yeah, I checked all those pins that the SE/LE use and they all look to be deactivated. Not surprising but it would have been nice to DIY the SE/LE features.
After about a month and ~200 games... we are still loving our MBr CE!
The only adjustment I've needed to make so far is the Dracula hit contact. He wasn't registering hits all the time so I had to slightly bend the contact.
No ramp issues, no "Cliffy" issue, no low volume issue... nothing other than the Dracula thing above.
Neat thing is there has only been one day since taking possession that I haven't played at least a handful of games. And that one day I was out of town.
So happy with our purchase!
Quoted from musketd:Maybe Lloyd could chime in on this but did CGC address the problems they were having with the brides head not functioning properly I know on my one friends game and another buddy had to take the bride completely apart because of the rod not being bent right her head would stop moving? Anybody else on here having the same issue?
Our CE is a month old with over 200 plays and the bride hasn't needed any attention.

Received an email from Gameroom Guys yesterday and they should be getting the CE display upgrade early next week. I noticed they show the product "In Stock" with a lead time of one day so I ordered.

Hoping we get our upgrade late next week or early the week after.
Quoted from tomtest:I bought the mirror blades from Cointaker for Williams machines and installed in my SE, fit perfectly.
Me too.
I bought a set from here...
https://pinballsidemirrors.com/product/pinball-side-mirrors/
Which at the bottom of the page says "A Division of CoinTaker".
They fit good as far as I can tell. Nothing stopped the install and it took ~10 minutes like usual. The bolt hole lined up fine on our machine.
Received our color upgrade chip yesterday from GameroomGuys.com... looks incredible even on the small screen.
Quoted from Ricochet:I’ve never had this happen. Does this happen at any velocity... or is it when it’s kind of a weak roll out of the loop?
It happens on our CE when it's a weak roll. A timed nudge works wonders.
So three months in with over 300 games on our MBrCE and the only things I've had to do in the past couple months is tighten the spinner bracket and tighten one bulb behind the mummy. Other than that she's been an absolute joy to own.
High score is just under 900,000,000 and all of us here can have 200,000,000 games from time to time(stock settings except extra balls at 60m, 120m and 180m).
Still no regerts!

Quoted from Zablon:I have a feeling this might be the last games from CGC at this price point or with this level of detail. They have to be losing money if they are seriously having that bad QC on the pf printings.
I sure hope not. I bought an AFMr and a MBr... a buddy bought a MMr. The $6k price point is SWEET when compared to Stern Pros and what some of these games have cost in the past couple/few years. I will be buying more as long as they are $6k and games I want. If MMr went to $6k I'd probably buy that one too.
What a great time to like pinball.
Quoted from Monk:I'm not home at the moment, but my CE came with/something very similar to this on the key ring:
[quoted image]
My CE did too.
Quoted from konjurer:Thinking about a MBr Classic. It's kind of hard to tell what's on the CE because there are not a lot of pictures or videos on the CE. Can someone point me to a video on the CE? Does the creature lagoon light up like the SE? The feature matrix in not quite that specific. Anyone own a CE with the color upgrade?
Thanks!
Here are a ton of pictures I took of our CE when I picked it up...

The color upgrade is totally worth the $400 IMO. It's way better than the ColorDMD upgrade on the original since the dots are completely redrawn and at a higher resolution.
Quoted from zpinman370:Thx Guys- I got it downloaded, unzipped and written to a micro SD card - at the end windows is asking to format the card- is that necessary and if so what format?
No. All that is telling you is Windows can't recognize what was written to the SD card. Basically it means you did it right. Just eject the card and put it in your game now.
