Hoping to get my hands on an LE. I cant wait to see what treatment it gets.
Possibly a well suited Halloween release date? (Although I'd rather it were in my house prior to Halloween)

Quoted from Arcade:

Just posted on Facebook that the remake will be in Reno this Friday.

Below is the text in case Facebook link does not open.
I just found out that Chicago Gaming Co.'s Monster Bash Remake serial #MB-P001 is here in Reno and will be opened this Friday for a private party. No, I don't know when they will be available for sale, or how much they will cost. Just thought I'd 100% confirm that they are coming.

Come on folks. Let's hear/see something about it. Anyone?

Quoted from PtownPin:

Couldn't agree more...I suspect its gonna be another 3-6 months before they actually start shipping LE's ...

I'm ok with that. I just want pics and pricing so my distributor can take an official deposit and I can start budgeting. I've been ballparking at $12,000 cdn for a LE seeing as Afm LE is usually around $11-11,500 cdn nib

Quoted from PtownPin:

My guess is the LE will be $8500 US +/- a few hundred....AFRMLE's were $8K

$8,500 usd is $11,000 cdn just as a point of reference.
Also as someone who enjoys some nodding, while I dont intend to do much to this game, I'd like to see what we are getting and what is still open to personal touches. I hope the pyramid is at least a 3d toy stock from cgc because it was on all of the monster bashes I grew up with...so like 3

Quoted from PtownPin:

Couldn't agree more...I suspect the sales/pricing will be in line with AFMRLE. I made the mistake of buying an AFMRLE with a deposit and waiting 6 months to get the game. As it turns out they were available NIB and putting a big deposit wasn't really necessary. Selling 1000 LE's is a lot of games, and I highly doubt it will sell out day 1. If they choose to price closer to $9K than sales will be much slower...

Idk about down there but I can still get nib afmre le from several distributors here I Canada.

The excitement is gone. I'll probably get one second hand a year after it's been released.......so 2025

Quoted from zpinman370:

yea and after tax dollars and we pay a lot of tax lol -andthen add 13% sales tax - good grief Charlie Brown!!

Make friends with someone with a native status card. I just found out my friend has one. I'll be using it for all my future nib pins. 5% tax

Quoted from c508:

This target decals are lame (the “phantom flip” ones in particular)... the flipper decals are nice though.

I like the over priced $33 ones more

Quoted from Zablon:

I know more than 1 person has their MB...surely if it was an issue we'd have heard about it by now.
I'm not seeing whatever it is - just that main pic by the Alice cooper pic?
This? That's just the artwork...

To me it just looks like the reflection from the florescent light cover causing the wave look. Bad angle/lighting choice?

Ha...lol u sld see my lady's shoe collection..... in the 150-200 pair range.....

Quoted from Diospinball: And so now I'm kind of freaking out about who I can get to help me move my game into my house..

I live an hour from my distributor. $300 (cdn) delivery. I rent a van for $50 and pick them up myself with a basic flimsy box dolly. Sterns are about 250lbs. Easy to move (even stairs) and set up alone if need be. I did my Metallica by myself with a bar stool as my helper. No problem. Talk to me when you need to move a midway arcade. Those things are tanks.

Quoted from Bublehead:

meurah, congrats, waiting on my LE... at least in here we can be CGC fanboys without much blowback...<looks over shoulder> I think... nah, some body will post some negative comment about me saying something positive about CGC and something negative about Stern... even if I dont say anything negative about Stern! Still waiting...

I'm pretty sure the negativity you receive has little to do with your opinions of Stern or CGC.

Player one Toronto has a CE set up. I put in about 30 min today.
Smooth play, beautiful machine, Frank is way less of a drain monster than I remember him being, everything about this game is great (even without the new upgrades),.......however, playing for 30min only confirmed my feelings that while this is one of my favorite games for its nostalgia and genuinely fun gameplay and theme, it also (for me) is better as a pin played only occasionally to be appreciated properly. I can see having this in my home making me start to find what iscurrently a fun game that I can usually do quite well on and be entertained into I game I find boring and repetitive. I dont want to wreck this game for myself so I'm taking a pass but hoping some locals get some
If you have the means and room to pack your house with pins, this is a great choice. If you are only going to have 4 or 5 pins? Maybe not.
Still looking forward to playing a SE or LE and love CGC remakes. This is the prettiest of them so far but has the least to do long term.
